Zero Tolerance is a fucking fantastic console FPS. Doesn't get enough credit for what it was either - both impressive for the Genesis hardware, a rad FPS on it's own right, and way earlier than Halo and Golden Eye that people like to assert were the first console FPSes doing it right. :(

Does anyone else think Robo-Vinny is actually an impressive piece of telepresence? It genuinely feels more like he's there than if he were simply Skyping in on a pc.

I think I used the 3.5mm jack on our Genesis a few times. We also had a third-party controller that hooked into that jack and allowed you to plug your headphones into it instead of the console. The buttons didn't fit well or were mushy or awkward in some way, though.

These are things you make use of when your parents come to hate that you play games and don't want to hear the related noises coming from the basement.
