Reading the CAH shit out loud may be one of the worst things ever done on this podcast.

I continue to not find anything to to with CAH remotely amusing and much to my detriment the guys just seem to be getting more and more involved with it.

Yeah that's my impression as well. Hell, they didn't even list it on the new releases tab.

Seems like they're avoiding anything Dark Souls at this point.

@CptBedlam: Yeah, I think they generally have a tough time wrapping their mind around that style of game. Based on the disdain most of the guys, except for Vinny, have for those titles it certainly seems like we're not going to see very much discussion anytime soon.

When is a next one coming out for this programme? I made a long wait between for this week and the last week episode. If she is soon I can wait for the maximum amount of 60 minutes but not more than it. If it is OK with you and the schedule is fit for you then I'm OK to wait this. However my night is coming here at this time zone so I will go to bed before it's too late at night for me. Last week I got your show and listen to with my family around me. It's a fun. My mother say to me who is? I say it's Jeff mother, it's Jeff. She ask me who is Jeff and I tell her he is radio man but she does not want it. I tell her to patient with this and she listen all of it and finally it's a big laugh! She like the Jeff! She like the boys all of them I want to say. My mother say to me when is it for new programme coming and I tell her it's a one week! Never she looked so sad than this moment! Not ever I see this sad face of her. Oh it's a painful time for her I don't know how to fix her. Finally it come to Tuesday and she is happy. She wait the programme together with me now and happy face is here again. She wait the Jeff. It's only one cure for her sadness.

It's a Bombcast.

@FoxMulder: In terms of story length, setting, game content and specific MGS quirkiness - yes, absolutely. If only MGS 3 had the streamlined controls and mechanics of MGS 4, which offered too much story and too many toys for such a small playground

would it be possible to break the podcast up into sections? the MP3 player headunit in my car I use is weird and it will lose my spot sometimes and all I can do is "fast forward" to try and get back to where I was but it takes forever if the podcast was split up like a CD or something with three or four tracks it would really help me out

I guess I could do it myself but I don't really know how maybe Audacity?

@Boopie: if you use iTunes, you can do it with that pretty easily, here's how. you have to convert the file to AIFF first, which can also be done in iTunes easily.

sounds like someone is bitter.

"Work" is an extremely vague term. I assure you, someone who lives alone in an isolated area and 'works' very hard every day farming and other things so he can feed himself will have a much weaker immune system than someone who is constantly in contact with other people. He might not get sick all that often, but that's because he doesn't encounter any strange bacteria. If he ever did find himself in a large group of people, he most likely would get extremely sick because of that.

In fact, the likely reason it seems the GB crew gets sick so often is because they travel so much, they get exposed to so much strange bacteria constantly that they get a bit sick fairly often, but it makes their immune system stronger.

Also, many people would say that traveling so often would be "experiencing" life pretty well. Lots of people would like to have a job that lets them see the world, so to speak.

I understand your jealousy, these guys make a living writing and talking about videogames. You may not see it as "work" because you're stuck with a job you hate. But that's no reason to display your ignorance in such a public manor.

Why is it taking so long to post the New Bombcast?!

Because they didn't record it until today. 3 hour recording (or longer) plus Ryan having to edit it. It's going to be very late.

No one but Vinny played it so what would there be to talk about? We all know how they feel about Demon's/Dark Souls.

I agree, there wouldn't be much to talk about. It would make it easy to miss. Which people apparently have.

@DCam: Also... it's a port dude. Yeah there's some extra stuff, but a port is not newsworthy. When Braid and Castle Crashers came out on PS3 nobody covered it because everyone had already played it. Yeah it's cool that more people can play it, but it's nothing to talk about.

I appreciate that whole redundant lecture, but it was besides the point. You know, we're not all farmers working in isolated areas to be mesmerized by such "exciting" lifestyle. Hey, it's 2012: traveling and going places isn't such a big deal anymore.

But jealousy? Why should I be jealous? How much value do you think you have when your "work" is something that most normal people do in their spare time, as a fun, relaxing activity? Should I be jealous of kissing corporate ass and every lazy ass Schafer ego, promoting and trying their every shit for a living, while maintaining and further nurturing the cliched and stupid childish obsessions of the so-called "nerds" that feed of their crumbs?

Hey, don't get me wrong: there's also jokes, having fun playing videogames with buddies and discussing them over a beer on a podcast- we all love that, no doubt about it. Sure, I would've liked more discussions about society, politics, pop culture, religion, sports, the untold/shady part of this business with less corporate restraints like in some of their older podcasts, but I guess you can't have everything.

But, in the end, it's just videogames - not brain surgery, not some fancy engineering or some scientific breakthrough, and definitely not something meaningful and enlightening for the society or for oneself.

Should I be jealous of some 30-40 year-old dude that is paid to have the same capabilities, mindset and life perspectives of a school kid or a teenager in his parents' basement during summer vacation? I think not. I don't wanna be in these guys' shoes when they look at themselves in the mirror.

Again, I get the fun part, we all love it, but some of us moved beyond that. It's called maturity.

Also, if you define "travel" by going from LA to Georgia and "new life experiences" by being a middle-aged American and STILL discovering and obsessing over American "wonders" and particularities, then exactly who's the bitter farmer here?

And where did you get the idea that I hate my job? Sure, I hate paying taxes, but I'm not exactly the only one that does, am I?

So YOU stop being ignorant, stop jumping to conclusions and stop lecturing people, especially when they didn't ask for it, ok?

Have a nice one.

None of that has anything to do with your claim that "real work" has any effect on the immune system.

Though one has to wonder why someone who holds this profession in such contempt would even be here in the first place.

it doesn't matter what you're profession is: if you don't keep your system running, if you don't eat healty from time to time and do some god damn sport, you're body is going to have a bad time. i recall ryan saying he got an "incredible heart burn" from some chicken or that he has to take a couple of days of because of high blood pressure... these are huge signs that somethings wrong with your body, no matter if you're working on a construction site or a computer all day long. (i'm not talking about stress, i'm talking about healt stuff.)

I feel like I hear about the GB guys getting sick a lot.

they eat like shit and don't do much sports, what are you expecting?

They're grown-up kids - that's why. The immune system kicks in when you actually work for a living.

sounds like someone is bitter.

Again, you took that "immune system" talk too literally. Please, excuse me for being too subtle.

Also, you misunderstood: I don't hold this job (not profession!) in contempt- not at all. There are plenty of shittier jobs out there. I just don't hold it in such high regard as you do. There's a difference.

My business here concerns only me. You don't see me wondering why you're here, do you?

it doesn't matter what you're profession is: if you don't keep your system running, if you don't eat healty from time to time and do some god damn sport, you're body is going to have a bad time. i recall ryan saying he got an "incredible heart burn" from some chicken or that he has to take a couple of days of because of high blood pressure... these are huge signs that somethings wrong with your body, no matter if you're working on a construction site or a computer all day long. (i'm not talking about stress, i'm talking about healt stuff.)

Hey look, it's the dumbest argument on the internet.
