Giant Bombcast 10/28/2014

I was listening to the discussion about the post launch patches, and I've been wondering what will happen when a decade from now or so the servers might be taken offline from which you can download the patch from. From an archival perspective I wonder what the implications are. Can patches be made available and manually applied. A lot of people won't go back to their old games a decade later, but some surely will.

Oh man... I work at Sledgehammer.. and I can not read a single feeling Jeff has toward COD:AW! can't wait to hear next weeks episode!! BUT the anticipation is killing me :)

I was wondering about that myself. It was cheesy enough the ad-version was usually available before the ad-less-version, but now no ad-less premium version?

I like hearing Jason's perspective, and I like the fact that he plays other games that the others don't. Please include him regularly!

Brad is always referring to Microsoft's excess cash in the bank?.. Windows is struggling as the last release was a big flop and Apple laptops are the only notebooks making any money in portable PC game as far as I know.

Awesome to hear Drew went to the tunnels. I lived in Ho Chi Minh City from '99 to '02 and went to the international school there. I've been to those tunnels, they used to be ALOT smaller but they had to expand them out for tourists to fit. I was the only person at school with a Dreamcast.
