I was at this, I was the drunk guy who asked the megaman name question! It was a strange show cause there was probably only around 40 people in the audience as Maron was recording WTF at the exact same time, but really fun!

That was great and both the Crew as well as the audience seemed super chill. It was great hearing Vinny and Jeff in the same recording area again, too.

That little "Best Game of the Past Generation" scuffle has me looking forward to the GOTY podcasts again.

@phiroth: I remember buying Hybrid Heaven and wading through the whole thing over a long weekend while living alone, sick on my couch, armed only with a pizza and a bottle of Coke. I recall having such wild ambivalence over that game, at the time knowing it wasn't that great, but still finding myself unable to either hate it or stop playing it.

The nostalgia I have for Hybrid Heaven is confusing and powerful; to this day, I still occasionally feel weird pangs of wanting to revisit it, even though I know time will have been outright cruel to it.

I wonder what kind of beverages and swag are sold at a podcast festival.

I was listening to this mostly asleep at 5:30am on the bus to the city and at first I thought Jeff was saying they had "Bourne" on loop.

The video adds little to nothing to what you get from listening to the podcast. And no, Jeff has said that they probably won't.

That was an awesome show. Well worth the wait!

that 3rd party Megatron is called "Apollyon" and is kinda worth it $150 if you're a complete nut for certain characters like myself. I'm into the Masterpiece line for a select group of the old crew and trying not to go too crazy collecting guys I don't actually care about, it is indeed a deep hole to fall into for the official stuff, nevermind the 3rd party insanity which generally looks better but also waaaay pricier.

Murray's over American Crew pomade? I don't know about that, not only does AC look nice but it smells fucking amazing.

In fact, I'm pretty sure the LA Podfest actually owns the video to the 'cast since you had to pay to watch live / get the archive video, so I don't think they could if they wanted to.

Between this and the sewage thing, Vinny's basement probably should just get filled in with concrete at this point.
