Oh man! I owned this game growing up. It used to scare the crap out of me. I hope they see the weird Goldblum camio.

I know this isn't Dan's thing, but a little more effort would go a long way. Maybe it's just me, but when someone in the video is so completely checked out, it really sours the mood of the whole thing.

Gutted they didn't try to check out the classic Space Jam site while they were mucking about in the browser. I do love, however, how quickly Jeff was sucked into the awesomocity of Total Distortion.

The original Universal Monsters films are fantastic in my opinion. The fact they do so much without having things to "go off of" amazes me even now.

@spunkyhepanda YUP! In the history of Giant Bomb I've found that when one or two people nearly refuse to try it makes the video worse. I feel this wasn't really a thing at Giant Bomb until...3-4 years ago. Seems like it has happened several times in the last few years...wonder why...

I said this in the chat at the time but a video example of Citizen Kane is how GTA3 was this groundbreaking shift from GTA2 but by today’s standards it’s nothing special.

This game is actually pretty good. It's well produced and I completed it as a child without a guide. The puzzles aren't that illogical, you usually just spent a bit more time poking around. I also don't remember the look being *that* bad. Maybe something with new mouse compatibility? I'd love to see the team come back and have another shake at this if they could figure out what was going on there. Steven Spielberg helped make it. It has to be good, right?

I couldn't play this game as a kid growing up because the monsters in the sewers made me cry.

@nthnmllr: film school, dawg. I only took two film classes in college and had to watch it in both. Film majors basically watch the same 10 movies over and over again.

I must have played and beaten this game 20+ times when I was a kid.

Man, my my family had a Gateway, and windows sound recorder with the provided mic and roller coaster tycoon were the two most amazing things on the planet as a kid.

Abby's squint looked like she was trying to hold in a fart for a lot of the stream so I pretended that was the case and it made me laugh.

Also, I'm team Dan when it comes to Kevin Smith movies being lame and obnoxious levels of quirk.

Did anybody play the Are You Afraid of the Dark FMV game (The Tale of Orpheo's Curse)? I had it and really enjoyed it. It was pretty creepy in parts as I recall. I beat it as a kid, so it's probably not TOO hard.
