The headsets track movement by your position in the real world, so if you had a treadmill you'd never really be moving yourself around and so you'd never move in-game.

This stuff looks rad AF but I just don't have the space for the Vive.

Aside from the Dark Souls games, I've pretty much burnt out on flat panel gaming. I'm looking forward to getting my Vive just to peak my interest in gaming again.

How else do you suggest to do movement then? Having you push a button to move your view in a direction is going to be super nauseating and disorienting to like 80% of people, if not more. Or at least it will if you don't have some kind of static reference point like a cockpit of a spaceship or interior of a car. When you're standing up and the first time your view starts moving without you actually moving yourself, you almost feel like just falling over.

I've seen more cool/interesting things in 15 minutes of this video than the entire 11 hours for the Oculus Rift launch...

Valve is doing it right (as usual)!

And the first one was Nolan North, right? Just like the "genius" core.

I have no horse in this race, but the Vive games lineup already looks more impressive than the Oculus. And for whatever reason I don't get nearly as motion-sick watching these videos than the Oculus livestream.

Oh man. They didn't get the Rhythm Core. That one is really good.

in the slingshot demo are the voice actors the guys from Rick and Morty?

VR still doing nothing for me and I don't exactly know why. Maybe down the line we'll see more substantial experiences but so far it feels very gimmicky. That said, the Valve game actually did in impress me a lot, I can see the potential for that.

Also Jeff looks insane with that headset on :D

Okay, I have to say, there was something about the part where they were playing with the cameras in Job Simulator that really appeals to me. I feel very strongly that that kind of mechanic has huge potential, but I don't have the imagination to tell you how it could be used.
I'm sure someone will figure it out.

Did you notice when he loaded up the Emails in Job Simulator, one of the email subjects was "Tell Jeff to 'Go Eat a...". For a second I thought it was taking stuff in from steam messages or something :P

In N Outs do not all have the same configuration, as not all have drive thrus (Fullerton, CA for example)
