So I've never seen Fantasy Zone before, and it sort of blew my mind.

I think I remember a variation of that Fantasy Zone stage 1 music playing in one or two parts of Phantasy Star IV.

The robots in Space Harrier are 100% lifted from the Dom units in the original Gundam, from their designs down to their movement formations, including the weird attack where they all stack on top of each other. It's pretty neat, because ultimately it means it's really easy to get a figure of the robot from Space Harrier.

I'm a big fan of Jeff's hair in this, styling.

After Burner Climax looked pretty cool

After Burner nearly made me barf.

FYI That Funspot in NH still has a motorized Space Harrier (it was out of order last time I was there in March.

Space Harrier literally makes me sick.

After Burner Climax features the best climaxes outside of Bayonetta. It's kind of a dumb game, but it eventually gets so god damn fast that it doesn't matter. Still got it sitting on my 360.

Never played a Fantasty Zone til a version showed up on the Genesis mini. And I don't know why, but I keep coming back to it and I'm trying to finish it without save states. Would've loved it as a kid.
