Scream Factory just last week announced a Collector’s Edition Blob blu-ray for October.

It's hilarious how strong that nuke gun is, they skipped the whole wave mechanic on the derelict reaper. I'll have to remember that for next time I play.

It's legitimately satisfying seeing Alex get so much mileage out of the Cain, especially in those two sequences which with normal play would honestly be quite tedious.

It's so much fun to shoot and makes me wonder how the Vasir/Shadow Broker fight would have gone if they'd used it there

@treesplease: Conversely, Elcor have faces and can't express emotion without telling you what emotion they're expressing. Mass Effect is a masterclass in displaying emotion in aliens.

@falconcritical:IIRC, the shielding on the reactor was on a timer. That is, after you're done killing husks, you don't have time to spin up the nuke before the shield is closed again and another wave of husks arrive. They must have changed it in the ME2Recalibrated mod they are running.

And just to get this off my chest... I remember when I laughed at all the comments in the MGS series on how they were 'playing it wrong'. My reaction to that was 'take a chill pill, dudes. They are doing fine.'

Now this is happening to my favorite series. :/ How can they not figured out ammo-powers when they are on Legions loyalty mission? Have they not noticed that sometimes people start to burn when they are being shot if you have Grunt with you? But not otherwise?

This feature is so bitter-sweet. It's awesome getting to relive the story, but kind of a bummer how Alex didn't get into the characters and world building. Also, the gameplay isn't explored at all, he plays as a straight shooting weapons only soldier class (i think he chose something else at the start with the technical shield) occasionally remembering he has abilities. Maybe in ME3 things change up a bit.

I'm continuously annoyed that Alex doesn't switch Miranda to her loyalty outfit from that horrendous one she is wearing now.

To be fair Alex, you would've got Legion on your team a lot sooner had you mainlined and done side quests after. I know I got Legion a lot earlier and could've used him in 70% of the game, say if you leave all the loyalty missions until after for example.

I however exclusively used Garrus and Tali in all missions in my first playthrough, so there's still opportunities for me to experience other characters.

THEY NEVER TALK TO EDI....

To talk to EDI you have to go to the cockpit. Every tiem Alex spoke to Joker they should have talked to EDI. They wonder w3hy Joked heeps saying, "fractured his thumb on the mute button"? Its because they didn't talk to EDI to get her side.

Joker has sarcastic remarks after a mission has been completed to get a new member and often one after they have their "loyalty mission". They got none of that dilague because they haven't talked to EDI in MONTHS!!!!

I love how he handled the ship core section. That "trick" saved my ass on Insanity runs.

Also keep in mind that all the weapons Alex has been using from the beginning are from the DLC and are a lot more powerful then the standard ones we were using when the game came out. And there is no limit to the armor rounds just activate it once and your good and if you have a team member with a different one say cryo for example you can have them use it then switch to a different gun and activate armor ammo then you can swap back and forth between ammo types with out having to reapply.

If you're playing an Adept that IFF mission is trivial. It amounts to chucking out a singularity every time the cooldown expires and watching husks float around all peaceful like.

I really like Legion. I think he's cool. I like that he sounds like the Pokedex from the oldest of pokemon anime. His loyalty mission has an interesting choice that the player can't just Paragon/Renegade their way through to make everyone happy. I also like the mechanic of how you can get the drop on the geth by not stepping on the green floor.

And yeah, that derelict Reaper is mondo unpleasant.

@monkeyking1969: To be fair, EDI only has an update to her dialogue after the next mission. ME3 is where she gets proactive in conversations.

Unless he makes the wrong squad choices, I dont think Mordin will randomly die. Usually, that character dies because you dont have enough 'defense points' to hold the line (pun intended). But, I think if you leave Zaeed or Grunt to defend, that is enough to ensure no one dies in the last part. And I'm pretty sure he wont take both Zaeed and Grunt into the final battle stage. But we shall see soon!

Shep Shep finds Legion and now the crew is complete. Enjoying these trips down memory lane.

Also the 88 version of The Blob is great! That Phone booth moment is well done for the time.

Guess it doesn't make for good tv if Alex looks at what his allies' powers are?

I was a little surprised that Alex lost Tali. - but just a little. I think there is a 'bit of random' in the matrix of what works. I believe it IS possible to make all the right choices, have all the right prerequisites, and then still lose people.

In the end, I think Alex's result was good, it was not what he hoped; but I think he did a very good job.

I'm glad Alex finally got to Legion so people can stop talking about when Alex will get Legion.

Man you got Legion so damn late. Shame because he has really cool interactions during missions.

Legion is really good and I agree, he should really have been introduced into the game earlier. Nonetheless I'm glad they were able to go straight to do his loyalty immediately.

While i like ME quite a bit, watching a bunch of these in a row really drives home how simple & non-threatening the gameplay is.
