Love watching Drew play videogames.

This makes up for the disappointing Nintendo Switch launch

WHAT? IT'S BINGE-ABLE?

Normally I appreciate the pacing involved with having to wait for each episode, but I feel like dumping all of them at once kind of vibes with this game's 'aesthetic.'

@pilgore: Ah yeah, I see now. I initially thought that background was the East coast studio.

Nope, I started it up yesterday and sure enough, it was 24 until I downloaded the fan-made utility that fixes it. Once I ran that in conjunction with the game, solid 60. (Cutscenes are still capped at 30.)

@gregalor: Yikes, that's criminal. Are you running an AMD GPU?

Looking back on it (I have Nvidia and Display Port these days and the game runs flawlessly), my fix was swapping my cable to a DVI one.

Well damn. YESSSSSS.

Geforce 1060 (6GB). The framerate bug is entirely based on HDMI cables. There are other graphics bugs that are AMD-specific.

LOL! I totally forgot that they have a Metal Gear Ray is a freaking miniboss in the first ten minutes of the game! This game is awesome!

Normal is significantly harder. It's not just the automatic parries. I'm playing alongside these videos and he's breezing right through stuff that's taking me two or three tries.

Oh my god! What the... I hadn't visited the site over the past week or so. Right before coming here I was thinking, "man... I miss Metal Gear Scanlon, wish they could do something like that again"

Absolutely did not expect a continuation of the series with Rising. And all parts at once? Awesome.

I hope they do something similar with another series, though I don't know what that could be.

Why would you choose easy mode? It was an easy game on Normal mode! I think Dan just never learned you have to tap the direction and press X to block, you don't hold the direction.

playing on normal makes all the cool boss characters a challenge like they're built up to be and defeating them much more emotional though.
