So the ten minutes of actual gameplay are pretty funny, but this writing is the worst I've seen in some time. And there's so much of it!

If I have to be completely objective about it, it's the part where you have to work up to moments like that, that turns some people off. It's the same kind of people who don't like RPGs or turn-based games so much because things aren't happening here and now at a constant pace.

I feel the same way about Minecraft-like games like DayZ and No Man's Sky. To me it just seems like you just running around for hours and then something might happen eventually.

If I was a teenager or otherwise had a lot of time on my hands, I might get real into it, but as I've gotten older I have gotten more drawn to games that have clear goals or progression that leads somewhere, even if that is just a story.
