Yeah... but there's an Xbox 360 controller for Windows XP too. With all the noise about the PC version being so much better, I'd really like to be sure what this is on.

The "stylized" graphics looks just terrible as well.
 
I predict a 4/5 for this game from GB.  Yes, I am saying this crap will get a higher rating than the absurd 3/5 Ryan game Brutal Legend.

Its the 360 version. They've stated that devs typically send out 360 versions for journalists hint being why Jeff's achievement points totally dwarf his PS3 trophies
 
Oh and you'll notice that when he is in the shop the button ques are all for 360 controller and being that the PC version is coming out later I'd say its a safe guess to assume their on the 360.

This game just looks absolutely awesome. Even with Jeff so powered in the single player part he could still be taken down by the enemies. This quick look has really sold me on the game.

Meh, i was relatively unimpressed.  Seems like an okay shooter, but most of the missions they did here only involved shooting weird 4 legged creatures.  Not to make any comparisons or anything, but I think I'd rather play Fallout 3  again!

Cool quick look, but it seems like everything that I thought might be the case is the case.  I was under the impression that this was a shooter/rpg like Fallout 3 or Mass Effect, but it looks to be 100% a shooter where the only rpg thing is the fact that your characters level up.

Yeah, people who don't share my opinion are always annoying.
 
Well, i said "annoying people" on the basis that there are a lot of morons in the community as of late, you could totally say thats the same thing, me finding people annoying because they dont share my opinion, on a much larger scale.
 
But to be honest it's got nothing to do with the actual "opinion", it's the way people express it...i'm slightly being too judgemental here, but the way you just expressed your opinion about this game was totally fine, im just annoyed at the people who rabidly type anything into the keyboard. People just going "this looks boring" and saying nothing else....that's what i hate, at least give us a little logical, personal reason, otherwise don't say anything! people need to stop implying their opinion is fact, and if they do think its fact, well F them. i know a lot of my opinions about this game aren't fact. But i do know this game has a story, and it's an RPG/FPS hybrid.
 
And that is me being picky! i dont care!

Somehow the Bomb guys seem to have missed the point of this game... 
 
Why did you only show roughly 4 guns in the Quick Look? Aren't you guys somewhat missing the point of the game? I want to see all those different guns, and how different they really look, how many reload animations they have, etc...

Found out this games only going to be $40 when it comes out, so I'm am defiantly considering this game now but I just hope the whole world isn't just bland wastelands because that can get really boring.

I am super pumped for this game.  I am torn between the PS3 and PC.  I don't buy games for my Xbox unless I have to because those damn things die all the damn time.
 
Anyways, I have the PS3 at school but don't have my gaming rig, only my iMac so I wouldn't be able to play it other than during thanksgiving / christmas break.

After playing Brutal Legend, I think the GB review is one of the more honest of those I've read.  For absurd, check IGNs review out.

@SenorTinman: DUDE! thank u sooo  much, ive been kicking myself everyday since i passed up the opportunity to get Arkham Asylum for $40 bones and now cant bring myself to pay the full $60.  so even though i wont be able to play this till exams end for Christmas I WILL be buying Borderlands this week.

@Quacktastic: and you are also right. Ryans review was spot on, as was his criticism. I think IGN played a different version of the game...or maybe Jack Black and Tim Schafer (spelled right?) were standing behind the guy while he was reviewing it :P

This game ticks all the right boxes in my eyes, as soon as I seen 2K were making this I knew it would be a gem, whether or not it would live up to the hype as always games these days from well known companies never reach their potential from people making it to be godly, what I've seen of it looks good fun with a small learning curve!
