I really dig how they just went full Holiday with this.

Reviews have been really mixed for this one so far. From 4 to 9. Really curious now.

Just replay sequences you've already done in the future, man - I want to see the game, not someone being confused by rather simple mechanics :(

I have to imagine Brad's brain is just fried from GOTY stuff. He way he doesn't notice the body hanging on the wall around 40 minutes is probably indicative of his frazzled state...

Shame they didnt give the zombies more personality this time around, cause its a new outbreak. Zombies killing each other with Franks weapons etc. getting into cars per accident and running each other over would be pretty funny.

They should have just rebooted the series if they were just going to ignore pretty much everything that made the first two games so popular.

This looks bad. That isn't Frank West. This reminds me of when they made Sam Fisher younger just cuz, getting rid of Michael Ironsides and essentially fucking up the splinter cell games.

The UI looks like something out of an xbox 360 release title or something. It's incredibly dated.

I'm the sick bastard that actually wanted a more streamlined Dead Rising, so this looks great to me. Just hope it (and DR3) actually does come to PS4 at some point.

Oh hey, finally a Dead Rising game I might enjoy.

I think they get it, they just want to make t more streamlined to reach a bigger audience (I have my doubts if this will actually reach a bigger audience though...).

On one hand, I was looking forward to playing this game especially with its Christmas theme.

On the other, I'm relieved that's one less game to buy and play in 2016.

Probably will go back to DR2 and finally give that a try instead. Dead Rising without the tension from survival and creepiness is too mundane and repetitive.

@billymaysrip: you're literally upset that brad died after 21 minutes? geez.

Thank god no more timed bullshit. The only way I managed to play through Dead Rising 2 and 3 was by finding a cheat engine table that had an option to stop the time from ticking. I know some, maybe most, people liked that mechanic but it was just boring as hell to me.

Shame about the lack of interesting bosses and psychopaths though.

I still hate games with weapon durability, so I'll have to resort to cheat engine again.

No campaign coop = no sale, that was the only fun part about dead rising games in the past.

Glad I was forced to have to wait to play this thing because now I'm not sure if I even want to play this. An uninspired game structure, no OG Frank West voice, no psychopath bosses?

Seems stripped down a bit too much. I'll probably still play it simply because I love the series, but I hope it isn't as lackluster as this Quick Look makes it out to be.

I'm not sure who this game is actually for. I don't think it'll appeal to a more mainstream audience and it doesn't look like long-time Dead Rising fans will appreciate any of the changes.
