Maybe its because I've never heard of this game or its previous versions, but Renegade Ops makes this game look like a HOBO (thanks to Jeff for that one).

I am all for nostalgia but I really hate this camera angle and I think games that still use it are bad. It's 2012, y'all. This camera angle was only developed because of limitations in graphics hardware, and those limitations are gone, now. Let me play it like a normal driving game would.

I loved Death Rally but this just bad. Play the original game instead (it's free), or for something similar but much better (and new), play Renegade Ops.

Man there are some quick-ass Quick Looks going up recently.

Disappointing. I saw cars, and guns, and I was ready for a fun game. But the top down garbage? That wasn't good even in the 8- and 16-bit days! Where you HAD to do it because 3D was impossible. Why would anyone make a game like that? Just take your awesome, chubby cartoon cars and put them in a normal, behind-the-vehicle engine. This would be a blast if it were, like. a cuter, more fun version of Full Auto...or a more violent ModNation Racers. But this? LAME.

Games like this get boring after 10 min for me. But games like Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now grabs my attention for hours on end, because it's so fun exploring and killing peds. and opponents :-) Hope that series is comming back soon...

It was fairly fucking original when they brought out the CONCEPT AND NAME in 96. Which he knows. So who knows what the fuck he is on about.

Every other game in the last 10 years like this has been trying to replicate the awesomeness of the original death rally, so it seems strange to brand a remake of the original as unoriginal.

Yeah, that bummed me out a a bit as well. I have VERY fond memories of the original.

Is that second camera making anybody else queazy? Phew. It's like, reverse double-vertigo.

This reminds me of Zombie Driver, which was a game with a surprising amount of longevity.

I was starting to get motion sickness watching that video with the chase cam on.
