Quick Look: Diablo III Beta

I love Rorie. This will be a great video.

High heels in these kind of games reaaally sucks, it breaks the immersion so bad for me :(. Combine that with a tiny shield, and other tiny armor pieces and a ridiculously lame stance a'la Dungeon Siege III and I am off put... at least for that character.

Problem is that whenever I'll see the female Demon Hunter in an online game I will feel a bit sick for supporting that kind of game design :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

I wish wish they would have kept quite for a couple minutes so we could hear the music and sound effects.

I like how the guy in the party is answering all their questions and they just ignore him. LOL

Blizzard made both games, so kinda hard to "steal" from their own games...

That is true too. That is two layers of annoying now!

Not hating,

But it was really frustrating to look at this as a Diablo fan.

I realize that having someone who doesn't know much about the Diablo Universe presenting the video is good when it comes to having an objective view on the game, but why have two extra people talk about the game when they clearly know nothing about it. Wanted to watch the entire thing but stupid comments and lack of common D3 facts made it really frustrating. How runes works, comparing diablo's blue items to WoW's green items, monk's "combo points" and a lot of vague answers.

I guess I wanted someone with good solid facts and knowledge, because without it nobody's any smarter, rather more confused, about the game.

That said, I love Giant Bomb and I think they always do a great job. But unfortunately not this time.

@snibbon: If you wanted good solid facts on a game why did you come to Giant Bomb in the first place, you've seen their other quick looks right?

@snibbon: Since you already know a lot about D3 and GiantBomb. I can't see why you are complaining. Its always like this when somebody is covering a subject where you personally have greater skill.

I looked around for some D3 videos, but then I remembered that there was one QL of the beta here. And I came to GB just for all the people taking and joking. Thats exactly why I'm here! :)

HAHAHA Dana Carvey Reagan!!!!! I don't think he did Reagan... but if he did it would sound like that.

Hopefully the proper release of big D will get a QL treatment from Vinny and his merry band as well.

EDIT; It's funny to listen to this and hear them say "Torchlight 2 is in the home stretch" and now D3 is coming out before it :P
