Quick Look: Dragon Ball Z for Kinect

Not gonna lie, I've never been a Dragonball fan, but if I had a Kinect, I would think about getting this.

Then again, I've never owned a DB game in my life.

Akira Toriyama is a bum artist. The only thing he did that looked any good was Chrono Trigger because everything is indecipherable sprites.

Not like I could do any better, but when you look at Dragon Ball Z top to bottom its pretty bad. We just didn't know any better when we were kids.

Vinny should wear that cardboard super saiyan hair at all times.

I disagree with you on this. Just because it's not "good" doesn't mean it's not unique or memorable. His art might look the same in a lot of cases but it has a good style to it that is iconic.

edit: they should make a game about the first dragon ball anime, not dragon ball Z, the first one where Goku is a kid and there's no SSJ.

@Draxyle: Nah, if you go back and watch, the dialogue was always this cheesy, and the American dubs were always pretty bad. But really, you don't need to go back and watch DBZ. If you're going to watch some anime, there's better ones out there, no matter what you want, than wasting time watching DBZ again. Crazy action shounen, thought-provoking seinen, there's something better in every way unless you're purely looking for the nostalgia trip.

And to think the last DBZ game I really liked was Budokai Tenkaichi 3.....

I'm just super sayin...

Burst Limit was kinda cool but they followed it up with another stupid behind the shoulder game.

Vinny looks good with hair.

Damn, I was hoping the hair people were talking about was a Happy Action Theater style overlay that models Super Saiyan hair over your image, and allows you to throw a kamehameha or spirit bomb by doing the hand motions for stupid picture taking. Seems like an obvious thing to miss, Spike.
 
I haven't played a DBZ game since the first RPG on GBA. And before that it was emulated roms of the Japanese fighting games.

Christ, they're so unobservant it hurts. It's the fucking numbers next to the pictures of the characters.

Man, I really hate the parts in every anime where the character has that "look of surprise, making 'uuuh....uhhhh' sounds" face whenever something drastic happens.

Kinect is just the worst.

DBZ is already totally hot fucking garbage in every capacity. DBZ on Kinect can only be equated to a massacre of puppies and small children...

To get to super Sayien you have to be power level 100,000 and get super mad....
