Yeah, that announcement was why they were talking about years ago when another FF rhythm game was announced as a joke, and someone on Gamespot posted it as real news. Hence, Jeff was not happy.

I would argue that the whole 'vs' series is actually half-way decent to good. That Dreamcast Gundam game was alright too.

I also heard some good things about 0081.

I bought this yesterday and am greatly enjoying myself.

I know nothing about Gundam.

As a Gundam fan, I would say I dislike this series BUT I heard this one was the best in the series so i might give it a whirl sometime.

I know little about Gundam outside of my dozen + hours with DWG2 but from what I know is all you want is Domon going berserk in the Burning Gundam.

Oh my gosh, its the normal people who can't pilot New type Gundams, not the other way around!  Gawd!  ;D

I've never played a Dynasty Warriors game and I feel like I should play one after thinking down about them for so long... Kind of seems wrong to hate on something I've never tried before...

Let's pretend this isn't prettymuch the exact amount of difficulty, scale, and user unput every modern game has. Let's pretend your game is more complex when you hide behind a box and wait for a head to pop up for the 300th time. This QL shows what happens when people who cynically think you just run in and mash x actually run in and mash x. You die, you quit.

Once in a while you press something other then X? game changer.

Fun fun fun fun.

So I'm a pretty big Warriors fan, but Gundam never really clicked with me.... I feel like it's made more for Gundam fans than DW fans since they somehow manages to say a ton of stuff in them, but never actually feel like they have a story and knowing NOTHING about Gundam doesn't make it very enjoyable to play, in my opinion.

DW7 is GREAT however. They've really done a lot better on story telling in that one.

Going straight for the enemy base without any backup and without exploring the other zones at all and wondering why it's so hard is almost on the same level as running through the whole dungeon in Ocarina of Time 3D looking for something to put on the switch when the boxes are in the same room. I love it!

I like me some Gundam but this game doesn't do it.
