Quick Look: God of War: Ghost of Sparta

Two God of War games in one year is too many for me.

God of War has been pretty formulaic for the past few years :/

That is a fine looking PSP game. Ayo, Kratos, what do you think about this game? "GARRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH!" Yo, me too, Kratos. The little enemies the boss was spitting out looked more like the spiders from Doom 3 to me. Hey yo, Kratos, use the circle button to kill that Cloverfield!

God of Words, a Typing of the Dead style of game where you type to have Kratos kill shit.

Kratos is angry because he has to play all these mini-games.

I like Jeff's theory of the monster doing "bond talk" or "comic book banter" as to why it could get hit hahaha. It works! Or maybe it was mating with the boat and you were bothering it?

I had never imagined Scylla having a mix of human arms and tentacles. Or having them come out of her boobs. 

I love it when they talk about me in the quicklooks.

It's formulaic, but it's a formula that works.

This game and the announced  Valkyria chronicles 3 really make me want to buy a PSP

what, you mean the same year Valkryia Chronicles 2, Phantasy Star Portable 2, Persona 3 Portable, Kingdom Hearts: BBS on the psp and God of War 3 already was released on the ps3?  I'm waiting for the day when psp owners start bitching about stuff thats usually only on the psp coming out only on the ps3, cause this psp envy is getting really old.  "

The thing is though those would all have larger audiences if they were on the PS3. People might actually remember them in a few months, even. "

I don't know what's wrong with me, but even though I have a PSP, no PSP games ever interest me. I have come to the conclusion that I am a bad person. Also, my PSP screen has  crack in it which now that I've seen, I can't un-see. It's the worst.

That's a fantastic looking psp game, too bad it's also a God of War game or else I might have had some interest.

This game looks like its gonna be worth a purchase.  I loved the first PSP one and thought it was better than GOW3 as far as story and gameplay.  The magic system is tight and works really well.

Thanks Ryan, now all games are dead to me.

I enjoyed playing Chains of Olympus. Can't wait to give this game a try.

The Kratos party game sounds amazing, haha.

looks good i just never have time for handheld games

This makes me wonder what Sony's plans for the next generation of their handhelds is going to be.  I'm really hoping they don't try and do a 3D handheld but at the same time maybe they could make it awesome?  It just seems so up in the air at this point.
