Wii arcade shooter port is pretty much what I expected.

I only like NY machineguns

I remember Gunblade. Seems like it would loose some of its charm without the giant guns.

Zomg, I remember playing this in the arcade.

I love Ryan and Vinny's synchronized uh's.

Gunblade NY looks like the best 3D Movie Maker movie I have EVER SEEN.

One thing that didn't make the transition from arcade to Wii are the epically huge machine guns mounted onto the cabinets. Which is probably why it's way more fun in the arcades than in your living room.

I loved the hell out of these light gun arcade games... back when arcades still existed. That said, these were also the games I'd burn through over the course of a dollar. Not exactly a retail worthy product, unless it's budget priced and/or Wii Ware on the cheap. Even then...

I like how Vinny and Ryan weren't trying to sugar coat it at all at the end, saying "don't even bother with this..." As opposed to the usual "if you like old arcade shooters, maybe you'll like this game".
 
More Shovelware.. in my opinion.

The thing that made these games awesome were the big f'ing machineguns on the arcade machine.  I always loved the recoil from them.  Wii does nothing for these games.

It's sad i think the actual arcade game looks better...and the arcade game was released in 98...scary

Man, I remember these games. I can't see the appeal without the huge kicking guns to hold onto while playing though.

This looks like a fake video game that you'd see being played in a movie.  How could Ryan love dome explosions if he hates anime?  It's a paradox.
