Quick Look: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7

Man... when they started floating other people in the air, I had this overpowering urge to call out "levicorpus!" I think I have a sickness.

They didn't fix the 5th lamp. They just left a gold brick laying there. Seriously. I'm getting the shakes just watching this.

I wonder if the characters you found in Years 1-4 carry over.

These games look neat but I'd go mad because of my tendency to GET EVERYTHING.

Does these lego harry potter games have lots of references to the books, like, jokes/refrences that related to stuff not covered in the movies? Or does it only cover what the movies covered?

Watching the first part of Deathly Hallows made me realize that Luna Lovegood is likely the only sane person in the Harry Potter universe. I got so worked up over how insanely inconsistent these movies were that I almost called up a friend to ask if the books made more sense.

I miss the "DEAR READER..." opening :(

@Ulong: I enjoyed the other movies just fine without having read the books, but Deathly Hallow Part 1 just felt like "Deus Ex Machina - The Movie". They don't know where the sword is, so magic happens and tells them where (and they just so happened to be camping near it), Ron doesn't know how to get back to his wannabe girlfriend, but Dumbledore had the foresight to create and bequeath a thing for that (but not the foresight to prevent like, his death or Voldemorts return or any number of things).

Maybe it's also because that movie is so damn boring, but I started to ask myself a lot of dumb questions like why they have to speak to cast spells sometimes and not other times, why they have a wand in the first place, why sometimes they light fires with matches and other times they use magic or really, how this society of wizards can even function.

I really liked Lego Batman but there could have been a lot of improvements. So I hope the new one is better.

Lego The Hobbit. Since New Line got shut down it just got absorbed into WB. This way they could make 2 Hobbit games and then make 3 Lord of the Rings games

I'm probably the only one, but I'd love to play LEGO Percy Jackson. The movie sort of ruined the books and any chances for more movies, and that particular storyline is still going!

Enjoyed the previous lego games on the 360 & expecting that they will do the same as the indy/star wars franchises where they might put all the lego harry potter games in one disc. After that who knows, I'd enjoy seeing the lego franchise take on next Star Trek Next Generation, Marvel/DC comics or Mortal Kombat franchises.

the 2010 licence for Lego is both DC Universe and current Marvel Avenger movies. So my guess is first an Avengers Lego and then possibly the DC world. I would love a return to Ultimate Alliance but with lego characters and if they could do the licensing, a Marvel vs DC Lego would be great.

Brad while there was only 7 books and such seven years, the deathly hallows was split in to two parts for the movie and such the last part for that is year 8 as those events do happen a year or so later, looks like the game could be following both books and movies hard to say but maybe the reason for the year 8 achievements.
