This type of magic system would be great to see in a proper Diablo style ARPG. There's not enough loot in Magicka.

The water wheel sequence gave me painful flashbacks to, oh, every LEGO game Quick Look.

Yeah, this looks really good.

Brandon was great, he was playing the game exactly how it should be, killing each other 80% of the time but still progressing. That force push on Brad into the spikes was fantastic.

I'll always mentally remember this quicklook.

Being wet causes vulnerability to lighting damage, so it'd be a little OP to let you cast both at the same time. Also, if you are wet and try to cast lightning your cast fails and you take damage. so I think the logic is something along the lines of toaster + bathtub. Don't mix 'em.

So basically, don't ever play Magicka on a controller. Ok. Good to know.

Brad thinking ice was water and not seeing the difference was so frustrating.

I know they always say playing a game while talking is hard, but MY GOD. WATER...WATER WHEEL!! It's not difficult. Plus, Brad constantly using Ice instead of water was fun too.

The first game was so fun, the combination of spells you can use plus the friendly fire is pretty awesome im glad its on ps4 seeing how my crappy laptop can barely play the first one.

For the record, the language in Magicka is just Swedish mixed with gibberish.

I think I was permanently shaking my head during the water wheel part. Besides that, it looks a lot more polished than 1, which was a buggy mess for a long time.

This quicklook confirms for me that I enjoy watching Dan play games, but I would never want to play a game with him.

Maybe they realize that real life is nothing like video games.
