Also: I realize it's too late to complaint about the main character chattering and shouting during gameplay, but do we have to hear Mega Man scream in agonywhen he dies?

Love me some Blue Bombin', even if its a quick look technically

This game is so fun! I haven't smiled so hard while shouting f-bombs before. Mega Man feels great to control, the Robot Masters are brimming with personality, the Double Gear system is surprisingly well thought out, and the levels have some cool obstacles. Also, I'm a big fan of Torch Man's campsite level. After decades of stock fire levels, it was a very welcome surprise.

My only complaints so far are the story retcons and the addition of a recoil to fully charged shots. (An upgrade can nullify it, but I'd rather it not be there at all.) X was supposed to be the first robot capable of independent thought, and I thought Light and Wily's split happened later in their lives.

Oh, and @vinny, you can indeed get Mega Man snow boots in this game. :)

This game seems totally fine. Kinda like the Strider remake.

I rented this game from Redbox and it's fine but also I kind of hate it. The jumping is just weird, and nostalgia aside, it's easy to excuse Mega Man 2 for bullshit jumping when it was made decades ago, it's harder to forgive this.

Nitpicky party pooper here, I hate how this Mega Man runs. He doesn't have that fun foot shuffle before moving either so you can nudge to edges. LAME etc

I've been playing this on Superhero, I thought the only difference was no item drops but the bosses are definitely harder.

They joke about Dr. Light not inventing shoes with spikes on them so you don't slide on ice, but that's literally one of the upgrades in the shop.

I wonder why this isn't on Youtube? Capcom doing some weirdness with their embargo?

Bummer that they went with the demo level for the Quick Look. I’ve played through this twice and watched them play through this already on a livestream.

Not sure I have the patience for these types of games anymore. I loved Mega Man X so might just get that first collection.

Well I guess I'll be that guy and point out you can stop using the gears before they run out so you don't get that lengthy refractory period.
