I played the demo of the wiiware one. I kinda liked it. It was like a super light Diablo.

Still haven't bothered to turn my 3DS on to download my free games... These new releases aren't changing my mind either. Maybe I should just trade it in.

Though I imagine I'd have more luck in this than the real Pokemon games :P

Geez, Pat, cel-shading is a shading technique! Shading! You know, when an object gets dark on one side because light isn't hitting it on that part? What does that have to do with outlines? Nothing! Outlines are just outlines! In fact, feel free to call them outlines! Because that's what they are!

Think I will pick this up for my 6y old son. It looks like the simple collect-a-thon he would enjoy.

The town music really reminded me of Super Mario 64.

Didn't Ash beat the a rock Pokemon with his Pikachu??? True Pokemon Masters say fuck strategy.

Seems like a neat little game. Also seems like the commentary track is a tick ahead of the video.

Ryan Davis obviously went to Ash Ketchum's School of Pokemon Strategy. Always go with the type disadvantage! It's the ultimate, infallible strategy for Pokemon Masters the world over.

Or something like that. Hell, at this point he should never lose a fucking battle with Pikachu. That thing should be like, level 500. But you know he does.I also remember seeing that he used Pikachu to make some kind of electric barrier around a flying Pokemon. You know, an electric barrier to protect someone who's weak against electricity.

Odd game. Still on the fence about the 3DS.

The only pokemon I care about are the original 151.

This game would be so much better if there were actual toys of these pokemans, and a stand so you could swap them on the fly in real life!

I like Patrick, but it seems like every Quick Look he's in he brings up "why is this happening?  Look at us, questioning the narrative of Pokemon/Kirby/Cars 2, etc."

I really loved the Wii Ware game that came out for this, so I'll probably buy this to after 6 months or so. It's so fast and fun and easy to pick up and play, the perfect 3DS game.

See, the thing you have to know about pokemon is that they won't be your pal until you beat them into submission, then you can be friends forever.

Is it wrong this is probably the game that will get me to get a 3DS? Also, the "Number" you get at the end of the level is the amount of pokemon you killed.  Having played far far too much Pokemon Rumble on Wii.

I was ready to blow this game off entirely, but this seems kind of fun, actually.

I love it when Ryan tries to release his pokemon.

It's quick looks like these that help determine if the game looks fun or not. While in some cases I think they're wrong (DQM:J 2 looks wicked fun), this makes the game look interesting and I wanna get it.
