This looks like best game of this year!

This looks a lot crazier than I initially expected 

This looks a lot better than I had expected. Plus, I love Monty Python so anything that emulates it is instantly off to a good start.

Right off the bat... a blatent MST3K reference. This is a game for me :D

Yeah, the game is ten bucks.  Also, two things, you can totally cheat at the end of the skee ball mini game by jumping repeatedly until you land in one of the x6 multipliers and jumping right at the end of a run, just before hitting the gate, increases the momentum and does more damage (Patrick figured this bit out though).

I love that weird games like this exist. Great gameplay concept. Great artstyle and visuals. Great sense of humor.

Gotta deal with the time delay while we BUILD THESE COWS

Wow! This game looks awesome! I never, ever, ever thought I'd want to play a Tower Defense game. This game should win an award at least for the art style. Looks really cool.

Ryan falls off the world and is defeated quite a bit in this quick look. I guess it's time to start a forum thread about how he shouldn't be allowed to play on video anymore, or do assholes just do that for Brad?

Looks frustrating but in a good way.  That "fuck, fuck, fuck, get over there" way as opposed to that "damn it, dead again" way if that makes any sense. 

This game looks incredible.

I'm all for that. It also isn't much of an asshole thing to do imo. These guys are professionals, supposedly. If anyone should be able to talk and game at the same time, game journalists should. Ryan totally sucked here...mostly because he wasn't playing and talking at the same time. And when he was talking, he was not describing things succinctly. Lame.  

This is what I needed, something innovative for a break from all the shooters and fighters.

This game looks awesome, tower defence mixed with super monkey ball. Next time I get points, i'm totally getting this.

Yeah, professional game critic doesn't necessarily mean (or even require) being an professional gamer.

Still, it was kind of crazy that Ryan didn't seem to realize that the direction of the catapults probably didn't only mean the direction they could fire at, but also which direction they would push the enemy's rock. He contantly put them where they would only slow the rock down, rather than push it off the ledges.

I want to play this on the PC.

This game wasn't even in my mind as a purchase...because I had no idea it was a tower defense game with super monkey ball in it! Pre-ordering on Steam!

This seems pretty cool. I saw a teensy bit of video on this a while back and wrote this off a Katamari Damacy but with destruction instead of collecting and growing. I am glad I was dead wrong, this looks pretty great.

I'm shocked by how much fun this seems to be. All the marketing materials I've seen for this game have made it out to be some dumb game that's only about rolling over shit. I had no idea there was all this strategy involved.

anyone thinking of buying this game, please keep in mind there is no matchmaking system, only create/join lobbies, and if you join a lobby you get one second or more interface lag, this means everything you do with the controller takes about 1 second to actually happen in the game. the host also gets about 2 seconds head start every time.
i didnt know this was a problem as i was making my own lobbies. but now that ive been joining other peoples games i see why i was winning so much, there is no glory in winning this game. the host always has a major lag advantage.
 
if i knew this problem existed i wouldnt have got the game, i would have waited for it to be fixed (which i dont know if it will.. )
anyways keep this in mind if youre thinking of getting this game.

They do just fine, so stop complaining about it. No need for them to play a perfect game just to show it off.

Man that's cheap, thought at first that this would be a full priced game. Looking forward to some intense split screen action with my friends :)

Zeno Clash was a PC exclusive for 6 months, so I doubt it.

I hope so. Just jaded on that kind of stuff on smaller games like this as the last dozen or so I bought were unplayable mess with a KBM. Really don't feel like throwing away another $10.

PCs use 360 controlers.... this "controls on pc will ruin the game" argument is about 6 years overused

I play games on PC because I despise playing games with a controller and prefer a MKB. This "Herpa derp! Just plug in a controller you idiot! It's fine for me so why can't it be fine for you?" argument is about 6 years overused.

FACT: Some games control better with a gamepad. If you can't deal with it then don't play those games, rather then blaming a bad port instead of your inflexibility.

FACT: If they take the time to do the controls properly any game can be played well with any input device. Just because you like to make excuses for lazy game design doesn't make it acceptable.

I have yet to see in my life a racing game that played well on a keyboard and mouse. You can't feather the throttle, so you might as well be playing mario kart. Why not use the right tools for the job instead of being stubborn. Games are games, not spreadsheets, sometimes you need a stick.

That versus match at the end was intense!

This game is perhaps even weirder than I expected. Looks like fun though.

If anyone was wondering what the 'simple Greek style' of art Ryan was talking about at 9 something minutes is called, that's 'Black Figure'. Most of who we'd call the 'good' potters lived in Attica. It was replaced by the 'Red Figure' style in the 6th century BC.
