I've not played this, but from what I've seen and heard, there's not much that speaks to me here other than it being part of the roguelike-like/lite genre. It just seems messy with those effects from the attacks, and doesn't seem to give you any good feedback overall from what you're doing.

If you're looking for a first-person roguelike type of game, let me recommend Ziggurat instead.

Interesting that Ben likes the Ratfist but doesn't like the lack of feedback. I found that to be one of the worst for decent "fist feel" and never choose it if I can avoid it.

The way I feel about this graphical style is probably not too different from the way some people feel about pixel art games. (I still think the latter is way more versatile, though.)

Honestly this is so petty of me but I can't play this game because the fists look like your character has their thumb inside their fist like an infant. It's all I can focus on while watching it.

This is one of least appealing games ive seen in looooong while. I kinda feel bad for the dev which seemed very passionate from the one interview I saw a while back.

I hope there are people out there enjoying this.

A weird pick for a QL. I don't see much to make this stand out aethetically or mechanically.

@brokenpilot: excuse me, have you ever been in a studio with multiple computers, laptops, mobile phones, and someone else to look at those while you're recording the quick look? It is obviously a problem that can't be solved since they lack the resources.

I find the FPS arena style of rouge likes/whatever get old very quickly. Ziggurat is still probably the most entertaining one I played and honestly I think it's just because is had a more "traditional" graphic style and doesn't have a "stylized" low res pixel/voxel aesthetic which is just short for "I/we are just programmers and we couldn't hire proper artists."

If you want to play a good first person puncher, go play Zeno Clash or its sequel. It's peanuts to buy these days.

Its just a trope at this point. I love GB, but the most basic "how can I buy this thing I'm showing off for some reason" would be helpful. Platforms... etc, it's not a big ask.
