I'm loving the campaign so far, went back to the WoL campaign just before and so far this is shaping up to be even better. Multiplayer feels pretty much the same (which is certainly not a complaint, I adore it) but with some nice cosmetic changes that make the whole thing feel nicer.

Almost the longest QL on the site, but fell just short of the masterpiece that was Euro Truck Simulator 2.

I guess you could say I got the "HOTS" for more Starcraft 2! heh heh... heh heh heh.

There are many forms of wild Brad, but without question Starcraft Brad is far and away the most abrasive sub-species.

Do you think they would ever do a StarCraft version of World of Warcraft? And why did they choose Warcraft instead of StarCraft? What would the world be like today if they made StarCraft Universe in 2004 instead of World of Warcraft? Wow that was a long time ago. (no pun intended)

Watching Brad get stuck on a mission because he can't see a checkpoint on the map. I don't even understand how this happens.

I love how at about the 50 minute mark Ryan remarks "I don't know much about StarCraft.. but if you go up that ramp the mines will kill you" and Brad goes and they DO kill him and it's hilarious.

Man, Blizzard does terrific gameplay and phenomenal CGI, but boy are their stories dumb!

I honestly don't know how annoyed I can reasonably get; the argument of what QL's are has raged since QL's started. On one hand, I feel like an internet asshole for expecting 'competent' gameplay. On the other, this is like Brad's domain - maybe give a fuck once in a while.

I like how it's fairly obvious that Brad is legitimately excited about this, made me smile.

Maybe manage your expectations? I mean, it's not like all they do is shooting Quick Looks. They have work to do, it's entirely logical they can't read up on every thing concerning a single videogame beforehand I'm sure.

I mean, I consider myself a Borderlands fan. If you asked me before I played the third DLC if there was a level cap raise in there I would have said yes. I just didn't read any story about it not having a cap raise even though they were out there.

To be fair to Brad during the first multiplayer match, he spent half the match doing literally nothing, just idling and talking about the changes to the game. And he still won without any real difficulty.

They chose Warcraft because fantasy RPGs were more sellable than sci-fi RPGs. Especially MMOs, of which there haven't been very many sci-fi MMOs at all. Also, Warcraft 3 was already RPG-ified.

Also, Starcraft Ghost had not yet been canceled, so they probably didn't want to oversaturate a single property.

Its amazing how impatient and hyped i was before wings and how i just dont give a shit anymore. Maybe its cause all you can do in this game is finish campaign and then uninstall for good.

The real question to take from this Quick look is, Who is Vinny interviewing and what for?

@nissanskyline: I'm experiencing the same. I didn't even get into SC2 multiplayer aside from spectating but even still I wanted to see the story in the sequel. Now I just don't give a crap and seeing how people seem to be pretty cold on the multiplayer there's even less of a reason to give a crap.

It was funny watching Brad attack move all his clumped units into mines that do splash damage for 30 minutes and wonder how to beat them.

He's not talking about prepping for the QL, he's talking about the bit where the game clearly fucking says go hide in the thing from the big bad Zealot and then Brad runs at the Zealot. If you're going to defend him for that then I don't know what's wrong with you. There's no reason something like that should happen.

People keep constantly whining that it's hard to play games on camera and then they pull stupid shit like this. I'm pretty sure most people would rather sit through some slower bits where they read through the tutorials rather than fumble and repeat their way through sections.

It went from 'hey brad should probably load up the last checkpoint' to half of the chat screaming LOAD THE CHECKPOINT and the other half going THIS IS WHY I HATE CHAT. So yeah, chat.

Is this worth buying for the campaign only?

Did you forget the part where everyone also complains when they spend too much time reading tutorials and messing around in menus? There's no way to please people here, if they spend time reading stuff in the game and checking menus it's "OH MY GOD STOP WITH THE MENUS AND PLAY THE GAME", if they just play the game without reading and looking into everything "OH MY GOD STOP BEING DUMB AND READ THE MENUS". Sometimes I don't even get why you people come to this website if literally all you do is complain about every single little thing they do wrong in any video.

Oh man this is just so incredibly frustrating to watch.
