Quick Look: Surgeon Simulator Anniversary Edition

I'm suing Giant Bomb for medical malpractice.

I'm surprised there wasn't already a Quick Look for this game.

Doesn't seem to control very well with a controller, but man this game is still ridiculous.

I think Vinny played the Greenlight version while Ryan played the steam release.

I love how Brad confuses the liver for the heart :D

And yeah, you have to complete all the surgeries in order. The space ones are great but if you can't do one with gravity then you'll never even get close to being successful in space.

They didn't even figure out that you need to cut the veins and arteries holding the bad heart in. :/

Couple of things/tips I have learned while playing this game:

- The finger buttons have analog control, meaning that if you work it right, you can give the one finger salute.

- If you touch the green syringe you become drugged, if you touch the blue one, it cures you.

- If the patient is bleeding you can use the green syringe to stop the blood loss. The blue syringe increases blood loss.

- Co-op has not been implemented yet. There's a trailer on Youtube that shows an August 27th date.

- After each successful surgery you unlock more disks for the computer at your desk.

- There is a trophy for calling Trisha.

A little disappointed (maybe they didn't know) that they didn't look at the local coop mode. 2 hands are better than one.

Surgeon Simulator exists to remind us why we didn't become doctors, and why the world is a better place as a result.

Jason, that was the best deck ever written. Also you're fired.

They should have watched the floppy disks on how to perform the heart surgery! Still, this game, hilarious as always.

But "Drew" rhymes with "I've got a bad case of lovin' you.", the lyric to the song it's referencing.

That explosion transition out of the bumper seems so obvious now, it's a keeper!

I've always had a mild interest in this game. The hilarity of this video is probably going to push me over the edge, even though it's such a silly game. Great video guys!

I cannot watch it although it is hilarious. I was never squeamish but this sends me over the edge. Maybe just listen to the audio...

I'm somewhat disturbed that Brad thinks the heart is located at the lower abdomen.

Especially considering his girlfriend is a nurse.

Uh, just because some people are bad at playing it with a controller doesn't mean it's broken. You can totally finesse it in the PC version. In fact, you have to.

Watching this, it occurred to me that I have never seen a successful surgery in this game.
