Shiiiit. I love quick looks but I also love media blackoutting games that I am super excited for. What a tease.

HUGE Spoiler Alert: Nathan Drake is in this Quick Look once it starts. Fucking Brad ruining shit. God fucking damn it.

So the next big advancement in video games should be stitching those awesome animations together in a natural way. This game is beautiful and the individual, canned animations are super natural, but start moving erratically like at the start of this video and it begins to look like any game from the past 10 years.

That must be it. When they say how amazing it looks in the beginning I don't see it. Could be cause I'm playing TW2 though :P

I'm not watching this Quick Look until after I've played the game, but this is really disappointing to hear. Of all the games to be unlucky enough to be shown in a poor light...

Is it just me, or is the character animation in this game wonky as hell?  Drake sticking his hands out at every random tree and wall he walks by, for one, but there's also stuff like the fact that it looks like he's going to go running straight off every cliff he comes across, the odd lack of momentum and turning speed... it probably works great during deft escapes from burning buildings or whatever, but just trying to casually stroll around and explore it looks, frankly, hilarious.

Wet pants tech was in Uncharted 1.
