Having just come off finishing 0 and Kiwami, this was a frustrating QL to watch. For having played through 0 not that long ago it seems like they didn't take much away from it that like... really contextualizes Kiwami. Or at least it did for me. I was able to bang through Kiwami in about a week, so it's definitely a more stripped down and shorter game than 0, but if you are a fan of the series (in my case I played 5 first, then 0, now Kiwami and want to work my way back to 5). it's definitely worth checking out despite being my least favorite of the 3 I've played so far.

@oni: my thoughts exactly. I like that he's the one that says maximum sentences are a " silly idea" when he has copped to countless acts of "questionable" legality on recorded GB content.

The marketing on Poland Spring water literally says "What it means to be from Maine". Hardly misleading...

Wow, this game looks exactly the same as Yakuza 0. Not sure i feel like 2005 differs enough from 1988.

Shaking my head at Dan for thinking maximum sentences are silly, yet living in a country where capital punishment is legal and all kinds of human rights violations are happening in prison. To the point where UN inspections are barred or restricted. Quite silly.

I like how Dan complains that the Heat system is finicky. Haha, no Dan. It's your own inability to pay attention to button prompts and learning the game's mechanics well enough for you to realize it's just you.

I've picked this up but haven't started it yet (as I've got a few other games to get through from this year), but I'm excited to see what's new and stuff they've changed from 0.

For a guy that plays so much Rock Band Alex sure missed a lot of karaoke prompts. Also, Alex doesn't block or dodge either. We are doomed. Vinny is our last hope.

How does Serena stay in business? There's never anyone in there except maybe a handful of people and she closes down the place regularly on a whim.
