The video is kinda messed up. The download option doesn't work at all, and the video seems to stop before the end at a few different points.

I continue to love this series. Given how deep Abby got, I'm assuming it'll wrap up in an explosive finale next week. Should be thrilling!

I was surprised how down they all were on the sewers. It's very different than the police station, but is that bad? The baby-spitting monsters are terrifying. Not knowing when something will pop out of the sewage is tense. The ways items are hidden works well, the chess puzzle is neat, and the boss of the area is novel.

It might be my least favorite area in the game, but the floor is high here. At worst it's pretty darned good.

@curufinwe: the vast majority of the RE2 fanbase prefer Claire to Leon. It's definitely not a new take. She has much more personality and her storyline with Sherry has more depth than anything that happens in Leon's story.

I'm glad that Vinny is giving a lot of guidance here. The sewers can add an extra hour to an hour and a half if you don't know where to go.

Abby got me with the TGIF at the end damn it! First time its worked this series.

When this is all over I would love a supercut of all the times Abby exclaims the same thing Claire does, and/or a juxtaposition of Abby saying the same shit Claire does.

And yeah Leon’s the most boyscout-y cop ever. His entire goal is claiming the G Virus so he can give it to who he views as his superior in the FBI. Also his voice actor does a lot of bad line reads that miss the intended inflection of the line.

I will not tolerate this slander against my very good boy Leon. He's the best, even in his more "golly gee wiz" phase. He's a way better character than Chris at least, especially in RE4. Sure, the voice acting in this game could be better (read: they could've gotten the RE4 voice actor), but I don't mind it.

Also, 3 absolutely is worth playing before 4. It holds up well even without a remake, but I hope they give it this treatment. Jill is my second favorite RE character and she's been given short shrift in recent years, time for a comeback.

People telling her to shoot the legs is the worst advice ever...

That was a really fun episode, great job gang! You're really getting the hang of this, Abby, awesome job on that boss. You're really starting to learn all the item management quirks (leaving ammo for the guns you don't use very often but just keeping what you have loaded in them) and shooting them in the legs and running around them. Love a good torsoing haha.

im so glad Vinny is there to guide actually.it helps smoothen their progress a little bit more and doesnt get bummed by being lost and not knowing what to do because they miss something.

@tonybaloni: In the context of REmake 2 I agree, but historically Claire has always come off as bland and vanilla whereas Leon was the fan favourite post RE4. I think this game's writing and performance of her VA actually made me a Claire fan for once whereas Leon comes off as a weird Keanu Reeves robot here (although that's kind of charming in its own way as well)

A suppressor absolutely reduces recoil in real life. You're making the barrel longer, among other effects.

The idea that the devs/writers really didn't think about the implications of William "implanting" Sherrie? Or the fact that they REALLY thought about it?

I've finished the game twice now, i've watched all the GBeast streams but i can't get over how good the game looks! There is something about the whole look i dig so much!

I really enjoy this series. I'm too scared to play the games myself; Abby is my stand-in.

@davidfox1983: Yeah, I agree that Vinny is helping too much, no offence, and I’d rather Abby figure things out and get help later if needed. It’s more spontaneous, wouldn’t be boring, and I think few of us would mind if the series were a tad longer.

But that might not mesh with GB’s schedule, so I can understand that.

Abby really needs headphones, I’m listening on Airpods and I can hear what’s behind her!

Not sure why they were giving Annette so much crap during that cutscene.

I thought the writers and performances sold Annette's character really well there. I thought you could easily tell how upset Annette was at having to look at the bigger picture.

I'm pretty sure the guy that young Dan didn't like on the British Whose Line might have been Michael McShane, aka the hypnotist that dies mid-session in Office Space. I don't quite remember him being "ruin your TV" unfunny.
