I have played the game in full and i was pretty disapointed with it, there was next to no interaction with stuff even with the move controllers whilst with them you could pick more stuff up to look at none of it was of importance or had a impact so pointless using them compared to using the DS4.

It was very linliear many of the doors were locked I thought maybe after you complete the game they would open up or something but nope, The butterfly effect stuff is there but not as many as in Until dawn, the length of the game was pretty short to i was able to finish in a couple of hours and that was with exploring what was abled to be explored.

The only thing i thought was good was one of the paths / endings that tied to Until dawn in a neat way.

Glad to see this series back!

The Inpatient is so crappy. Everything Supermassive has put out since Until Dawn (with the exception of Rush of Blood) has utterly disappointed me, but hopefully the Dark Pictures Anthology can turn things around.

In until dawn you wonder through the asylum in the present day and read about the miners, cannibalism and the origins of the wendigo. This is putting you into the asylum when those historical events that took place in doctors notes and newspaper articles

But OH YEAH! Abby's fear is fuelling my excitement for Halloween!

God, i remember that dream jumpscare scene being total BS when i played the game for the first time.

The PS4VR breakout box forces the HDMI audio to surround, which may have something to do with the audio problems. I was going PS4 -> HDMI switcher -> S/PDIF -> computer audio interface, and after adding the breakout box I was clearly only getting the front left/right surround channels anymore.

You can't change this, and it's a real oversight by Sony that they seem to have no interest in fixing.

Ah, my favorite annual series is back!

optical out can't handle HD (PCM uncompressed ) audio in 5 channels or above only stereo it doesn't have the bandwidth, you want it to work correctly cut out the optical to the PC audio interface why your doing that i have no idea, It's not a oversight by Sony or something they should fix your simply trying to use a setup that isn't viable.

This game looks like it's a perfectly fine VR experience, it's especially nice to see PSVR game working as intended.

Holy shit Abbys scream at the 22ish minute mark is the realest I've ever heard someone scream.

Seeing as how the surround sound is an integral part of the VR experience (you're meant to be using headphones, and the sound works really well), I don't know why Sony would be looking to fix it.

Not sure if it would work, but you might want to try an HDMI audio extractor (they run about $15-25) before the breakout box if you're wanting to pull only stereo audio out from your HDMI signal from the PS4.

Whoever made that intro needs multiple raises!

Also, are the chronic PSVR tracking issues resolved, or is that still ongoing?
