This is my favorite series on Giant Bomb since Mario Party Party, and might just be my favorite they've ever done, all told.

I just wish so much it came out more than once a week. To say nothing of how long the game will actually take to complete at this pace, these videos have genuinely become what I look forward to most in my otherwise pathetic garbage life. I realize the whole site is lately maintaining a good, weekly equilibrium with all the new shows, but God, I wish this were the exception. Two hours just isn't enough.

Vinny's reaction to about 28 minutes into the video is the best.

I definitely beat this entire game in my youth. I don't know how to reconcile that fact with the evidence presented by this series.

Every time that yoshi ate a ghost I thought it sounded like a low-res sample of Dan yelling "fuck."

Y'all need to learn the water burst in the air thing - it'll make half the shines in the game so much easier to get. You just need to hit R+A together in the air.

I maintain that this game is flaming hot garbage.

I could watch these four people play anything and it would be great. The chemistry is high tier.

This series is great fun, though you guys should listen more to Dan and pay a bit more attention to the game, a lot of the more frustrating things you guys ran into outside of camera issues and slippery controls could have been avoided that way :P

Speaking of slippery controls though, try to butt stomp right before landing on platforms to kill the momentum, I think I remember that working quite well with making things less frustrating on finicky jumps

I got that on my PC and I noticed the page was still "loading" so I hit Stop and the play icon popped up and I was able to stream it normally.

@the_nubster: they're playing on the wii - that console has the loudest audio output of any device I've ever used. Not surprised it's clipping. If you watch the first ep where they're playing on a gamecube it sounds much better.

Someday I hope I can be as bad at observation, spatial awareness, finger dexterity, and basic problem solving, as the fine folks at Giant Bomb Beast Bomb dot Beast com dot.

Love this series. That said (and this was slightly more relevant last episode than this one, but still), I feel like the crew should try grabbing a Yoshi for some of those Bowser Jr. chases. I may be totally off base, but I think they'd be doing themselves a huge favor by taking advantage of the additional speed and maneuverability, as well as having a more effective means of spraying while still moving in the vast majority of those situations.

I think this is the only time when I've been frustrated watching a GB video. I don't get how they couldn't look at that shine locked in the pool room and not see which hole to but stomp through.

But otherwise loving watching this feature.

Great episode. What are the chances?! I thought it would never happen. We need Jeff Bakalar in the next episode to explain the chances of that happening.

The Mario Sunshine team are trying to give an insight on what working on Mario Sunshine was like. There is fire all over the place and you neither have the tools, ability or controls to do anything about it. All the while the Corporate Chomps keep setting fire to more and more as they run around flapping their mouths demanding to be fed.

I loved that hotel level, lots of varied things to do and figure out.

Well, the worst that has a full set of shines...
