Steal My Sunshine: Episode 08

I really don't think they should be wasting their time with the shotgun blast on the shadow Mario chases. They would do much better if they would just run and shoot. These chases are supposed to take seconds, not minutes.

This is the worst Mario game. I would rather play 50 turns of Mario Party than do that god damn watermelon bullshit.

i need to rewatch these and tally up how many times dan says "this part SUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!" i'd bet he says it at least 20 times a session.

I hope when this series is done there is a Best of Steal My Sunshine of all the parts Dan says "this part sucks."

Been playing through SMS while watching this series and I think it's still a great game. Up to 80 shines now and it's not really that difficult once you learn the mechanics(mainly, controlling the camera correctly).

I think if the crew had played it more back when it was released they would be better at it. Only playing 1-2 hours per week and swapping off(while being filmed) all the time isn't an ideal setting to learn. It is hilarious though and I'll keep watching because of it. I can't wait till they get to the Yoshi secret island off Delfino.

I remember them being a PITA when I played it when this game was current and I was about 12 (I don't remember the rest of the game being as bad), but yeah, the shotgun blast isn't great for them.

This series is great. Very pleasant and humorous

I feel like Dan's blunted sense of smell goes to explain his somewhat basic palette. Things like Kraft Mac n Cheese and Doritos are quite literally engineered in a lab to have the most basic, powerful flavors possible, so it'd explain why he likes those more than more subtle, nuanced ones.
