Co-op really does seem like a great way to play this game. The ridiculousness of the cutscenes are perfect material for joking around.

It's impressive that a story that makes so little sense/is so bad doesn't seem to affect this game at all. If it wasn't funny then it wouldn't be the meme that it is but "Nioh + laughably dumb nonsense story" seems like a recipe for success.

I noticed the bitrate seems really low on this video, even in HD. Anyone else have that? It looks very artifacty.

This seems like it's the game that Babylon's Fall wanted to be.

The PC version pausing on a black screen at startup is likely the copy protection. I have had it on other denuvo games as it auths on a server.

Not directly related to the video, but does anyone else find themselves constantly having to log back into GB?

@dsouvannarath: I've had that happen a couple of times. It's (might be) a change in a lot of back end stuff on Giant Bomb's side.

Sent a report but can't play the new videos on GB, old ones like VinnyVania works fine. Anyone else has this problem?

@lillycue: I'm having that same problem. I have to download any premium video, I can watch the non-premium ones that are hosted on YouTube through the site.

Is this a game to buy? I am so conflicted.

This game has almost as many jobs as Jan has had.

It's hard to judge the difficulty from a coop session, but this looks less like Nioh / Dark Souls and more like Kingdom Hearts combat to me. Attacks don't seem all that weighty and the healthbars are long enough that you don't seem to really need to find that one timing window where you can get damage in.

It seems very unlikely for someone to have genuine problems with a 1v1 against a goblin, while a 1v1 against pretty much every enemy in Nioh could potentially end up with you dying.
