Quick Look: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

I'm not a Smash hater - I had never played before, but bought Super Smash on both 3DS and Wii U, I did not like it. Single player, or even playing my niece on 3DS. This looks way too similar to buy again. I like the fanservice, but Id rather get it in some Amiibo RPG or something... i dont get the appeal of the game, (but i dont like fighting games so its kind of not my thing anyway i guess).
Playing someone who's played a lot (like Ben) just seems annoying if they know how to dash back on the level etc... i never even understood why sometimes Id get the smash orb and get my special attack, and sometimes I wouldn't. And for newbies like me and my niece the winner seemed pretty random in the chaos. I can see the appeal to some people. not for me...

I need to know if Dan has seen the Paz spirit.

Ben says that there are other maps to explore in Spirit Mode and puzzles but I've yet to run into that, about four hours in. I don't think that's the case.

@the_nubster: It's absolutely the case. There are mini-dungeons like the power plant and others. Plus...something else I'll not mention here because of spoilers.

Oh cool! Happy to be wrong about that. They did a good job of tucking them away.
