No More Heroes is the only game that has even made me consider getting a switch. I wish it was coming to ps4.

Considering how they addressed Yakuza Kiwami, it has my lowered my hopes for another Beast in the East series. Kinda odd they are doing the quick look for it... so that probably means they don't care to spoil it if they aren't planning on doing another Beast in the East.

Its pretty sad so many people are adverse to reading subtitles.

Original Xcom games are trying to do strategic squad based tactic simulation, while new version are board game versions of those games. Things like, light level effects, blind fire, stances and stamina are completely gone from the newer games.

Also, (DOS) versions available from Steam (and most places) come with the difficulty bug. This bug causes difficulty level to set down to very easy after the first mission. Things like UFOextender fix this while allowing higher resolutions and more modern aspect ratios.

Remember Patrick Klepek and "Laura" Croft? Good times...

Fun fact for @danryckert about radiation. You associate it with glowing green because of Radium paint which does in fact glow green. Most forms of radiation are invisible in air. In water, though, like in the cooling pools of nuclear reactors, a phenomenon called Cherenkov radiation causes the reactor to glow pale blue. It's essentially a light version of a sonic boom.

I cant speak for the other classes, but Canadians are known for their great snipers. I believe one holds the record for longest kill shot at a distance of 2 miles.

Well at least I'm glad that @Alex is trying out Kiwami. The main story is way shorter than Yakuza 0, so if they are thinking about doing another Beast in the East, this one could be way shorter.

The side quests are not as funny as Zero though.

I think Alex needs to call HR on Abby after the end of this episode.

Anyone else think that GB East should do a series exactly like " The Exquisite Corps" except instead they play Mario + Rabids? Maybe then the play through wouldn't be such a train-wreck.

For XCOM 2 is the same deal as Enemy within. If you get "War of the Chosen" the newest expansion, it folds into the campaign from the vanilla XCOM 2. It's also super fun! They made very smart additions.

The new Majima Everywhere sidequests are comedy gold....

Some of them still stand out but the earlier games stuff way more generic Zany Scam encounters in to fill out the substory list.

Yeah, you're right. It's basically the funnier Mr. Shakedown. And it's the kind that I always seek after, rather than just running away.

Yeah, there's just too many of 'This is an obvious scam' side quests. Some of them are nice callbacks to Yakuza 0's side quests.

Lara is pronounced Lah-ruh by language rules. Localized pronunciations aren't invalid but it does not make it correct.

Think about the word nuclear and how some pronounce it nu-cu-ler. We understand the meaning so it's not invalid but it's not the original pronunciation.

How is it weird that Bowser Jr. has a cellphone. There was a Bowser phone item in Mario Party 2 or 3 that you could call either Bowser or the Koopa Kid.

I haven't listened to either bombcast in a few months but I am interested in the mario xcom game so gonna give this one a listen :)

I know nobody in the media or anything likes Xbox anymore but it is pretty ridiculous it's been two episodes and NO mention of xbox one x preorders, how well its doing or anything. Got a PS VR mention but no xbox one x stuff?

Oh and here's a tip, the Xbox One UI is pretty easy and simple to understand. However when you admittedly NEVER use the system, it's no surprise it can be a little confusing. That's how it is when you try and use anything you don't use. Don't blame the UI, blame yourself.
