Magic Pockets!! Pretty deep game once you start playing around with trapping monsters in the large tornados. You need a guide to work out how to get the best powerups and uncover the secrets though.

Holy shit does Magic Pockets' intro screen write a check the game can not cash.

Then of course there are a few more recent tracker formats that incorporate stuff like VST support and internal synthesizer engines too, like BeroTracker's and Renoise's formats, though I'm not aware of any games using those for music.

@hansgr00ber: The song came first, the Bitmaps just licensed it. Bit like what they did with Xenon 2 and Bomb the Bass. If you're British and of a certain age you'll recognise Magic Pockets as the game kids used to play over the phone on the ITV Saturday morning kids' show "Motormouth".

Xenon 2 was also used as a phone-in game as was Weird Dreams, despite being completely inappropriate for Saturday morning TV.
