That last image is bromantic! The Matrix Online had a better ending than The Matrix Revolutions though.

The hand holding on top of the building with the sunset in the background was so epic.  <3 all of you GB staff.

Also, The Matrix is totally on ITV tonight in the UK...i'll be thinking of Tonka no doubt. i'm actually happy because i've been meaning to watch it again.

That was epic, happy birthday.

I enjoyed the matrix. I wanted to get into this game but at the time i did not have the system to run it well so i did not play. That is it though they just turned off the server? could not even get some kind of story to it?. I would like to know the events that have happened. i saw some vid of some guy killing morpheus. I am guessing this was a "live event"? where is Neo in the online matrix world? If this game counted on actors and player actors so much like fake players and actors then this game probably died a long time ago. I guess if you just like grinding the whole time. Not much of a RPG or ONLINE RPG person. I guess that is what you do in these games mainly. Eh, i just like the matrix universe i think it was a descent idea that could have went alot better and diffrent, although it really did not turn out that bad at all. Cool it is forever documented here on GIANTBOMB. thats great so ppl know such a game existed.

I live on the East coast and happen to be up late that night. I watched the last 2 hours live and it was absolutley wonderful.  You guys were hilarious and you captured the night perfectly. Good group chemistry and it was never boring. I never played the game but i enjoyed watching you guys mess it up. Keep up the good work.  

There needs to be a way I can save this series to my computer. IT MUST BE KEPT FOR POSTERITY.

Man, now I feel terrible. I thought the game and the community was crap... but now I feel sad for them... all they get was a "Wake Up"..... Man, thanks GB for showing us what an MMO dying looks like... and I wish luck to all the MxO community peoples. Brings a tear to my eye..... Not like this...

I was expecting some sort of a nuclear bomb or EMP hitting which would have ended the servers. However it was strange watching it die down. it is one of the surreal moments I have experienced in my 19 odd years of gaming.
