Anderson and Gallows kinda leaned on the "We're Americans who can say what we want because NJPW doesn't give a fuck" crutch in Japan. A lot of stuff Anderson and Gallows say is wink wink nudge nudge inside jokes to people who know about them. Like Anderson bringing up his Hot Asian Wife on Raw, and Gallows talking in cizarn(carny speak).

But, they are starting to get into a rhythm with AJ, it's just a shame they havent done anything to show how heel they are besides after match beatdowns. They havent cheated much, they haven't dont anything terribly despicable that i remember off the top of my head. Throwing them directly into a feud with Enzo and Cass isnt doing them any favors on the mic. Personally I absolutely abhor Enzo and Cass, I just HATE HATE HATE their characters and find nothing they say terribly humorous, but I recognize i am in the minority here. But The Goodbrothers havent got a chance to show their personalities, or even develop a character more than "hey we're AJ's buddies!"

The Hardy Boys books touch was something special, extra so for someone who enjoyed both that series and the wrasslebros as a teen. As for the upcoming draft, I've always been super-pro Brand Split so I'm very excited for tonight.

I actually watched the 2002 draft yesterday in anticipation and boy does some of that not make any sense. Flair drafts all 3 nWo members as his second pick, but then later drafts Bubba Ray only to be counterpicked by Vince taking D'von. Also Vince makes fun of Flair for taking a woman as his tenth pick :/ - at least they got the crowd to chant "You're an asshole" at him directly afterwards. Finally of note: the crowds were so enthusiastic back then and it does add a ton of energy.

Edit: Who's music was the intro? It just sounded like Pantera, but maybe it was.

Me too. It's just too entertaining, though.

I watched Final Deletion and some of the aftermath stuff - ridiculous and entertaining though leans a bit to hard toward Adult Swim-like rando 'look how weird this is!!!' humor.

Also, Matt Hardy's accent sounds like Keanu's English accent in Dracula.

Alex still the only one watching Lucha Underground? The rest of you should be ashamed haha. You guys have the time you just would rather spend it watching WWE since you're more interested in the backstage decision making of that train wreck than a show that's actually compelling to watch. Well at least ya'll are giving Broken Matt Hardy the respect he deserves. Really incredible stuff out of that angle though like you guys said, not really on the wrestling end of it. Matt's fake accent is amazing. It's not quite redneck, not quite British, not quite Cajun but rather some bizarre amalgam of the 3, then a little bit Latino sprinkled in when talking to Senor Benjamin. Thanks as always for the podcast guys.

The Final Deletion and the subsequent videos of the aftermath are just great stuff. I'll preface this by saying that it is absolute trash. But, it's fun trash that everyone involved in seem to be having a blast producing, so that makes it super fun to watch. I think wrestling can be way too serious. What I like about the whole Final Deletion thing is that it's so off the wall and unexpected, but the little callbacks are really smart too. And somehow, and I don't really understand how, it works. I know that some people really don't like it, and I totally get that! But I have fun watching their stuff and I think that's the most important thing.

I am completely sports entertained by it.

I've never been interested in Matt Hardy. But he's certainly surprised people with this gimmick.

Those draft predictions were not even close. Impressive in its own right.
