Felt like there was going to be a three-way brawl between Alexis, Patrick and Jeff. Ending was glorious, though. Even in a game, Tebow pulls through.

A virtual world must still recognize the existense of Tebow Time. I think Newton said that. Still holds true today.

From the resident Blitz pro, Jeff is saying alot of "feels like" and "seems like." It "seems like" his talent in this game comes from savant-level familiarity with the mechanics rather than him just understanding something that others don't.

I said last night, Tim Tebow is the John Cena of football.

Jeff may be willing to forgive it but really they gimped too much of Blitz for me to care.

No late hits, crappy commentary, broken jump passing, limited Tournament mode giving every team "Tebow time" if they're behind enough, etc.

He said he only got really into football this past season, and considering how rare safeties are in football, it's forgiveable that he might not know exactly how they work.

I agree that the constant "Tebow Time" stuff, and name dropping of the player names he knew got a little tiresome, but whatever. Hardly enough to ruin the entire TNT.

People need to stop being so hyper-critical about everything Patrick does. I don't get where this psychotic hatred from a vocal minority on this site is coming from. He has some occasional ruffles to his personality, but they all do. And we all do, too.

With the exception of Vinny, who is perfect.

Brad mentioned in the chat at the end of this TNT, that it has essentially switched to a 1.5 hour format since the Dead Island TNT.

But yeah, I miss TNT's that were at LEAST two hours - maybe longer, if the guys were having a good time with whatever the game was. Now that's rare.

He isn't an expert, you have to start somewhere, I think you guys may just be critical of him because you are harboring the preconceived notion that getting a new member of the staff with different tastes, strengths, and weaknesses is a bad thing. I felt the same way toward Brad for a long time when he first joined.

I'm English and have a passing interest in American Football. However, I find myself drawn to the Eagles... Does this make me a bad person?

i don't get why some people hate on Patrick; and honestly i couldn't give two shits about handegg, easily one of the most boring sports out there. people need to lighten up and relax, i enjoyed watching this because i like watching everything they do, and the questions that are answered and the discussions made.

No I love Patrick, I liked him since he started. I know its his first year watching football and I could see a safety being rare so he wouldn't know what it is. But yeah I don't get all the hate on Patrick too, but I can see somebody saying "How the heck does this guy not know what a safety is if he watches football?!" Cause I really don't watch nor like football, but I at least know what safety is. I don't not hate anyone from whiskey media, they all have really awesome/funny personalities which we all come to love, but yeah some of community just hates Patrick, Alex, or whoever for no damn reason....

They probably have valid reasons, they just don't have the filter in their heads not to say it. Letting yourself sound like a colossal dick isn't a good character trait.
