While I agree that the audio delay sucks, it's more like 1 second (if that) than 10. Since I'll probably stream this in a 2nd monitor at work today and only half pay attention, it really won't both me that much (although I wish it were perfect, of course).

I was around for the live show last night, but sadly I was unable to get into the server. 1,000+ folks all hammering to get in was rough ;)

At least for me it was about 10 sec, less at the beginning and longer at the end. And that was exactly what I ended up doing at work with two monitors. When everybody started to shout I had time to turn to the other monitor wait a bit and then saw what all the fuss was about.

Ha! It's almost like a build in 'feature' for half watching... so when you get the audio cue, you know to watch for something cool in the video ; )

I had a good run, 8th on my team :D

from a few seconds at the start to almost a full minute out of sync. You can't really adjust for it either since it gets worse constantly. I recommend watching it on justin.tv.

Thanks guys... was going to wait until exams were over (New Zealand here so currently got exams) but due to this I purchased it tonight...

Wtf, audio out of sync? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Anybody have a fix?

I had so much fun watching last nights TNT that I had to contain myself not buying the game on Origin on the spot. Reminded me of all the fun I used to have in BF 1942 and BF 2 online in 64 player online matches. Already got the game on Xbox 360 and will pick up the PC version in the new year.

audio is outta sync but whatever.

@Branthog: Awesome. Thanks for the tip. I will try that. The audio de-sync is bad on this one.

The extent of the desync is pretty extreme. On the other hand, it really makes me anticipate the good moments, since I know they're coming several seconds beforehand. Maybe it's intentional, heh.

It did for me. I tried both quality versions that were on there and it was out of sync right from the start.

Sorry, I mean watching it live was plagued with problems for many people, there were tons of technical issues for a lot of people.

Hahah everyone in the chat stated 3 million times, you had to stream in 720+ and all the problems went away. Their tricaster was on the fritz.

I know how you feel man. I had an exam to take. The guy behind me got his laptop out and started playing right after. Sadly mine isn't good enough for such a powerhouse of a game.

@Thuggish: The server was insta-filling and I couldn't even read the passwords off the stream like everyone else seemed to be able to do. I was a sad panda to not play live with the guys!

I actually got in after the server reset, but by the time the game loaded... and i was about to select my class and spawn in... i got disconnected; then, of course, the server was full again :(

Oh yay the audio is only 2 seconds behind this week.

This TNT sold me on Battlefield 3. Just ordered a new laser mouse. Gonna buy BF3 tomorrow. Also I watched it on justin.tv didnt notice any syncing issues there. Just watch it there http://www.justin.tv/giantbomb/b/298531488

Edit: yeah, audio is out of sync on jusitn.tv. But it seems its only when we see ryan and guys talking at the beginnig. its in sync during actual gameplay,

Man, this sucks... I was really looking forward to this. Can't they put an intern to fix the audio? Worst part is that the desync gets worse so (a) I can't never fully address this with VLC and (b) even when I believe I can, I slowly realize I'm out of sync...

Lol i synced the justin tv feed with the proper audio lag with the HD video on the archive version... PROBLEM FIXED!!!!

Was in more then a few of the games... I was horribly amused through out it. Riding shotgun on the cave chopper was intense.. thought getting blowtorched by mike in the face was kind of a bummer... :( Y U NO LIK ME! :( Great TNT though, had a blast.

Yeah the hd and high res are both out of sync ....

Yes as everyone has said before the audio sync is out of sync.

As everyone else has pointed out, the audio is mad out of sync.

Huh, If you have this on in the background, the Out of Sync audio actually helps.

I hear them scream with glee, stop what I'm doing, look over and see a tank blow a helicopter out of a tunnel.

Works for me.

Please fix sync issues.

I have to say, that while if you're just sitting watching this the sync issue could be annoying. However, while doing something else while its running is nice because you know when something good is going to happen before it does and you have time to look over and see it.

I have been having alot of problem with rubberbanding on alot of the 64 player servers i am playing on

audio seems to be about 20 seconds behind, maybe a little less

Quality is terrible, what am I paying for?

For people saying the fact the audio is out of sync is a good thing. C'mon, I love Giantbomb as much as the next guy, but you know this is bullshit.
