This game looks really fun. Shame that it's reliant on 4 players and the developers seem to be against implementing anything that would make it easier for 2 players to complete the levels.

I love the fact that the game devs are like, you need 4 people. I hate that devs try to cater to everyone these days with different difficulties and automatic scaling. This makes it tight, and unique. Yes pain in the ass to get consistent 4 ppl. But heckin fun

I know this game is hard as af and ends in failure most of the time, but I really enjoy watching them play. Reminds me of my early times with this game when I didn't know any of the mechanics.

@osiris: I can respect the decision and sticking to your vision, it just makes this a particularly hard sell for me ($50 x 4 and if someone can't play or gets bored of the game, you're screwed).

Looks great but I will never be able to play it if you need 4 people.

OMG The whispering freaked me the fuck out from the characters in the game. Thought I was being haunted.

is it really that bad? We have thousands of games that cater to all needs. This game works well with its niche and is only asking to get that friendly feeling you got with couch coop like kids in the 90s (which is lost on our isolationist culture of online gaming.) id say inclusiveness is good but sometimes its also fine to say do it this way or GTFO.

There's nothing wrong with it. I just wonder how financially viable it is.

This game looks awesome, but I will never buy it. Flat out requiring you to play with 3 other friends is cool, but I can count the number of times I have done that on one hand. Maybe there are a ton of people that do that on a regular basis, I don't know. But my gut says that is a tall order for most people.

It will be interesting to see how this game sells.

I haven't seen any 2 player games that have the mechanics that GTFO does, like using terminals, stealth, puzzles, etc. The closest games to this that I can think of are Left 4 Dead and Deep Rock Galactic which are more straightforward action shooters.

By no means am I saying that the developers shouldn't make the game that they envisioned, just that it is a shame that I won't be able to try what (aside from the requirement of four players) looks like it would be right up my alley.

@obikwiet: See your point. Your right. Maybe a discord to find teammates idk seems like the destiny raid thing where you're locked out of content cause you're alone. Or how Mario maker is way less fun when your just a random nobody that doesn't have followers to watch and discuss your game instantly. Same reason twitter and Instagram is super fun for influencers and boring for me, a noninfluencer. Having a bunch of people to play the game with when you like is preferable. engagement makes or breaks it. So I'm on your side. :)

Brad as usual contributing little, save to throw a random monkey wrench in the proceedings. LOVE IT.
