Google seems to love their gaming references. After their homage to Pacman with a playable logo(http://www.google.com/pacman/), Google turns heads(sorry) with a nice reference to the Star Fox franchise.
Go ahead try it for yourself . For those who need help
1. Go to Google.com
2. Type in do a barrel roll
3. ??????
4. Profit
5. Just kidding with 3 and 4. Sit back and enjoy.

So with that in mind what projects or neat references would you like Google to tackle next? Or have there been other Google doodles in other countries that I'm not aware of.
Personally I'm surprised they haven't done anything with Sonic's 20th Anniversary but I guess Sega had to be involved. Also nothing on Zelda or Metroid as far as I'm aware of. Maybe they can do more of these in the future.
EDIT:
TYPING ' Z OR R TWICE' ALSO WORKS (Thanks to GB user MattBradz who has a similar topic. I feel like I should flag his post but I won't since there is no reason both threads cannot co-exist)
Some people are reporting problems when using safari and Opera(Thanks GB user animathias)
I used Chrome for this. Does it work on Internet Explorer and Firefox?
Star Fox
Star Fox follows the adventures of the famed Star Fox team, a group of pilots consisting of anthropomorphic animals who are intent on protecting the Lylat System from a variety of threats.
Type do a barrel roll in your Google search bar and enjoy

I think "save" also works. I just prefer kick because thats how I have been doing it for a while.
Ah cool. The Keep site stopped working a few days ago, but Kick/Save totally still does. Thanks.@MrKlorox said:

It's all CSS3, so most modern browsers can do it.
Here's giantbomb.com constantly doing a barrel roll: http://www.vager.net/randoms/gb-spin.html Too bad you can't watch video while it's spinning. That would be fun to watch. Right click, view source if you want to see how it was done.
Also did this, using the same technique:
