Come on. I dare you say "Steam sucks" when they are pulling this sales. I'm so tempted to buy Plant vs Zombies for €5... I'm saving every cent for a new CPU, but I don't think I'll be able to resist this opportunity :P
Yes, buy Plants vs. Zombies. The rest I think I'm going to pass on. I either have them already, or won't ever play them, or already have them and never play them.
Steam is awesome but one thing... TF2 and Worms Reloaded...? Everything else on that list is at least a little horror based except those two, what's up with that?

I was going to post this, I was wondering why ppl didn't make a thread about that until now.
I say to ppl if they have a X1050 and higher rez monitor, a videocard and doesn't have re4, dmc 4 on the pc, they should get it. The graphics are flawless and it will be so sharp it might cut your eyes.
Lots of other games too, like both l4d games for only $15 which is a steal. Deadspace is only $10 and bioshock is $5. It's so cheap, you'll be crazy to pirate it.

I don't believe it does. Also, I've tried it on my PC and the controls are practically broken for me. I tried turning off v-sync, but the problem remains where it becomes nearly impossible to turn with the mouse. I heard the 360 gamepad fixes it but I currently don't have a wired one, and would rather play this game with a mouse and keyboard at the moment.
If anyone knows a way to fix the control problem besides turning off V-sync, I'm all ears!
@Fullmetal216: I remember playing the game I pressed two buttons on the keyboard to do a 180 turn. Maybe it's like shift and space, I can't remember and have to test it out for you later on.
Edit: Okay, you press down and shift, you will do a 180 turn that way. Also if you are having mouse lag, maybe it's your videocard that's running the game too slow. I found when I used an i7 cpu, my framerates tripled to what it was before. I'm running this game past 100 frames per second averagely and I don't think there is input lag. The game does support quad core or more cores.
@HitmanAgent47: Hmm... interesting, I'll have to test this. Although my problem was the fact that when Isaac would aim, it would be so slow that aiming was useless. I loved Dead Space when I rented it for the 360, and it's bumming me out that this problem keeps happening. It's been a while since I've tried playing it, so I'll probably re-install it and give it another go.
If you get one game off of this sale, make it Dead Space or RE5. Neither of them are that demanding either. Burn Zombie Burn is alright too if you like Geometry Wars-esque shooters.
@Fullmetal216: I thought you were talking about resident evil 5 for the aim thing. I don't think you can turn around that easily in dead space, if you want that, either use a gaming mouse or turn the sensitivity up. I'll test out the game and stuff to see if there are problems with any mouse lag on my new rig.
Edit: intro took forever, the game runs at 200 frames averagely, that's better than I expect from my new rig. Turning seems kind of slow, maybe it's slightly intentional. It can't be because of the framerates. At this point I still don't have a gun yet.
Edit again: Well I turn the sensitivity all the way up, or almost all the way up, it takes two swipes to turn around. Otherwise it would take forever, I hope that works for you.

Yes. I believe you turn off vsync in the game but force vsync on in the NVidia control panel for deadspace.exe. If you have an ATI card...sorry.

Not sure, but it's worth it regardless. One of the best single player campaigns around.

I wouldn't recommend DMC4, I found it pretty boring. You can get through the entire game with the same two attacks.

Anyway, I enjoyed the game from the demo and am probably going to buy it. Why not check out the demo? I like it but some people don't seem to, it is really a love or hate game.
