    Overview

    This creature appears in Silent Hill: 0rigins and it is wrapped from head to waist in a straight-jacket made of its own flesh. They usually appear in "packs" and will attack Travis, surrounding him and spewing gelatinous balls of some unknown corrosive substance. And if they actually get close to Travis, they will leap up and wrap their legs around his waist; if Travis doesn't shake them off quickly enough, they will either kill him, or spew a ball of acid in his face (and none of the options sound any good).
    They represent the patients at the sanitarium. A particular Straight-Jacket at the Artaud Theatre is noticeably covered with blood spatters.
     

    Trivia

    This monster very closely resembles the Lying Creatures in Silent Hill 2, but it was indeed officially given another name, and as such should be regarded as a different creature.
