• Match will be the default 3 rounds 99 seconds
• Each set will be best out of 5 matches
  
• You must stick with one character for each set (whoever you pick in your first game, you must stick with for the rest of the set. You can pick another character when you start another set with another player.).
  
• None of the characters are banned
• When people report the results, they have to say the final score ("3-2 ___ won") as well as what was the character match up. 
• Win a set = 10 points
• Lose a set (even if by forfeit) = 0 points
• Win a set by forfeit = 5 points <//forfeit too many I might not let you in future tourneys>
• Any draw matches or Disconnects will be replayed

Ok, so think of a hybrid between how the NFL and motor racing works.

Everybody will be bracketed off by their timezones first (if not enough people join, then we are all in one bracket).

Everybody will face each other off in their bracket with some interbracket play to minimize the amount of lag everybody faces. I will try to make it so that everybody has seven matches (that way it averages out to 1 per day, although you can lump them all in one day if you can pull that together <I will just announce your opponents when I have made the seeding, its up to you guys to get in touch to get the actual match happening>). At the end of the week, all your point totals will be added up and the person with the highest points wins. If there is a tie, then I will call for a best out of 7 between the two top scorers for the tiebreaker. Any ties for second and third place I will assign who gets second and third based on the matchees between the people that are tied (althought I will most-likely let you people have the option for fighting that out as well).


If you guys feel 7 sets is too much or not enough voice your opinion, I arbitrarly choose that number based on conveinace that it would average out to be 1 set per day for that week.

Not enough media outlets are picking that story up so I'm just going to say that is a rumor; If it does get released then cool, I would have planned my tournament to start just in time then.

I don't remember where I heard it, but I'm pretty sure they said it was dropping before the end of March. Hell, I think they said that on the Bombcast at some point.

Alrighty, sign ups are closed and in a day or so I'll PM each of you your match ups, Good thing we have an even number of participants, or else somebody would have had 6 matches and an autoforfit 7th match instead. I will break this up into two brackets (Timezone based to reduce lag). For everybody you will play only 6 people in your bracket and your 7th match will be someone in the other bracket. Any matches i have not got round to p[laying can be forfeit mate, im just in this for a bit of fun with fellow Gb'ers,
