What truly puzzles me about this is Capcom released a big fighting game not too long ago.  Not only that but it sold very well, got great scores, and a lot  of people are still playing it.  Why do this now?  There are certainly no shortage of Capcom games in development so why not put a little more time and money into something else?   I understand they want to make money, but I would think a lot of people are not really rabid for the next big Street Fighter type game.  I suppose it does depend on the release date cuz for all I know it could be coming out next year.  Still I think its kinda weird.

What's even more confusing is why Tekken and Street Fighter? They both play very differently, Street Fighter with the control stick moves (quarter circles and such), and Tekken with button combinations.

Yeah if its not released until 2012 there's plenty time for them to re-release various versions of SF4 like Turbo or Hyper as Capcom do. On the fence with Capcom this time round, on one hand there's some really nice new IPs from them on the horizon that im very much looking forward to but on the other hand there's the same old re-release / remake shit they spam out every year. Not a SF fan but enjoy Tekken. Ill bet that this game tailors way more to SF fans than Tekken fans so will have to wait and see if ill pick it up.
Re-released / remade / re-imagined Dead Rising 2? Damn I love me some Dead Rising really Capcom?
