I need to play more to figure out if it would be too insane to aim for 100%. This is my track record:

• did 242 stars in Super Mario Galaxy 2
• beat Guitar Hero 1 through 3 on Expert (but gave up on the Dragonforce song)
• almost got through Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but said "fuck it" on one of the last bosses

I know these are apples to oranges comparisons, but i currently expect the 100% in this game to be harder than all of these examples. Does that sound right?

I kinda hope that it's the right kind of challenge to make me go for it, even it will take forever.

I just unlocked TEH INTERNETS world and god damn is that tough. I couldn't even get passed the first level. 

Im trying, ive 100% areas 1 and 2. but this could take a fucking long time.

That's right. I was stuck for days on a shitty fight towards the end that i didn't feel was fair, compared to the rest of the game which was always hard as hell, but not unfair.

I still regret quitting. :(

Imma get 100% on this thing.  I just finished teh internets and am 8th in the world on it so I think I can do the whole game eventually.

When I get it I'll first just focusing on beating the game, then go for 100%

I will try, but will probably end up like I did with Trials HD. Finished all the levels but didnt go for medals at the end and didnt do that crazy achievement with the long run without accidents.
I'm at 80 A+ levels now, missing a few bandages allready.
 
So far, everything was doable, it's getting harder though.

Not me. Sometimes I don't even play a game all the way through.

Me. I'm at university and I can't get my internet working, so I'm going to go home, download super meat boy and then go back. There will be no Live to distract me and I will rock Meat Boy's face off.

i'll play it as much as i can, then quit, then go back to it after awhile, then quit, then go back, then quit.. at some point in the future i'll probably get it..

I'll try. I haven't gotten far in the game yet (Frickin' jobs, eh?) but if it gets as difficult as the original flash game did? I probably won't get it.

Maybe. I'll definitely try, but it'll be something that just happens in time if at all.
 
Got N+ in late 2008, didn't finish everything until July of this year. Gave up with Trials though.

I'd like to try for it, but I know I'll end up getting distracted by a million other games getting released because there are too many fucking games that need to be played.

100%ing Super Meat Boy is the equivalent of a camel passing through the eye of a needle.

I am not man enough to get 100% in super meat.

Probably not.  I'm near 100% on world 1 and cruising through world 2 without that much difficulty (and I love a game were 5-10 quick deaths = not that difficult), but once the difficulty spikes I don't think I'm going to keep up the Dark World or difficult bandages.  Could be a long-term, multi-year goal, but definitely not going to devote myself to it for the next few months or anything.

I'm only on the third world, but I have a feeling I'll never get 100%. Same thing with Trials HD - I hit a damn wall, and I don't think I'll ever be able to get beyond a certain point. That said, can't wait for DLC from both of these titles..

This entails A+ on dark worlds so uuhhh fuck that noise.

Maybe very long term.  Give me a few years and maybe I can.  (I mean that seriously, but off and on)

This game is fucking ridiculous. It's like the Demon's Souls of platformers. Not because of the difficulty, but because you basically just have to recognize patterns and die several times before you get it down. But it's addictive as hell.
