I kinda like SFIV, but playing it online puts so much pressure on me, it's not really "fun" as in "having a good time".

Nope.  Renting Street Fighter 4 made me realize just how bad I am at fighting games.

- DLC transfer (yes or no?) 
- Quick Character unlocks (I don't think I'm going to beat Arcade Mode 30+ times to unlock Seth this time)

If there's a PC version then maybe. If anything just to encourage more devs to make fighting games for PC. 

I am dying to give them my cash.

I just can't support Capcom on Super Turbo versions of games anymore.  I bought Street Fighter II three times in my life because they kept updating the rosters and moves.  Back then it was ok because there was no such thing as DLC so if you wanted to update you had to buy a new cartridge.
 
We live in the age of DLC now and if Fallout 3 can nearly double the size of the game among many other titles I do not see how Capcom cannot figure out a way to add a few more characters into a game.  If SSFIV comes to be about $30 or less I might consider it but I just won't support this kind of cash grab behavior like I used to.

I will gladly buy Super Street Fighter IV and whatever else comes after it.

you guys all seem to be missing one really, really, REALLY, important thing here when spitting out the idea of this being DLC....
 
 dlc is not going to help tournaments.
 
 first and foremost, street fighter has been and always will be the premiere tournmanet fighting franchise. so the decisions that capcom makes effects the entire scene all over the world. hell, it is fucking hard enough most of the time to have the console characters unlocked for most tournaments. much less having to make sure that each system has an active xbox live or PSN account on to be able to install your vision of "dlc" so that event personel can start running matches at their stations and quickly get players in and out. the amount of extra time to do such a thing would make many tournament scenarios not possible. no where near as easy as passing a memory card around with a save file to copy over.
 
so no, this game by that very nature alone would not work as DLC. capcom saw that just as easily as the scene could see that.

As long as it doesn't cut into my hooker and cocaine money i'll buy it.
 
Also I can why capcom is making this a disc release. Its because of the huge tournament scene for SFIV having it on a disc just makes it alot easier for tournaments then DLC. They should put it out as DLC and a disc though.

I suck at SFIV, and I didn't really like it. So no.

I will buy it since I got the first one for 20$ new plus it sounds like this will be a major improvement

My price point with Street Fighter upgrades is a hard $5 per additional character.
 
If this was the usual 2-4 new characters for $60 Street Fighter upgrade, no way.
 
However, since this is going to be 8-12 new characters for $40, that definitely meets the requirements.
 
It's a buy for me.
