    In the game Halo Wars by Ensemble Studios the UNSC forces use Supply Pads to gather resources. Supply pads are the core of Halo Wars base management.

    Depending on which UNSC leader you choose a supply pad will have a different cost. For Cutter and Anders a supply pad will cost 100 resources to build, and an additional 225 resources to upgrade to a heavy supply pad. Forge on the other hand needs 225 resources to get a supply pad, but it is already upgraded. The first tech level must be obtained in order to upgrade a supply, meaning the player must have a reactor built or garrisoned.
