Took a while for another episode from Tales from the Borderlands to come out, but now it's finally here! Was it worth the wait?
Personally I enjoyed the episode. It had a few moments that made me laugh (Jack breaking the fourth wall, Athena's reaction to Fiona having that eyeball from the last episode) I also kept wondering where exactly this game takes place in the Borderlands timeline, and it looks like we finally got an answer in this episode, showing how Brick and Mordecai captured Athena for The Pre-Sequel. I also like Vallory's character. She's the first villain so far that I feel like is an actual threat.
Anyway, choices! Where did yours stack up to everyone else (at the time you finished this episode?) Here's mine:
For the choice on who to sell out to Vallory, I originally kept quiet, but just decided on Vasquez for no real reason, honestly. As for Vallory helping up Fiona, didn't know how Vallory's character was outside of how August and Vasquez being terrified of her, so I decided it was probably a good idea to play it safe and accept her offer to help me up.
Any standout moments for you guys? I think one of the best bits was when Rhys has a conversation with Jack on the roof and Jack just randomly breaks the fourth wall.
So what did you guys think, was it worth another pretty long wait or are you done with the series until everything's out?
